My experience at The Verdict was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the beautiful ambiance, which set the perfect mood for the evening. The music was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every detail exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. I highly recommend it and can't wait to visit again

I ordered through Uber eats and the egg rolls I ordered tasted like nothing but old grease. I tried to call for two days and even left a voice mail. No answer back.

I don't know where to start because this restaurant before renovation was next level nightmare level the service was very slow had to wait 20 minutes for an appetizer to come out then over an hour for your main course meal to come out you would be lucky to get your main course meal within less than an hour that's probably the fastest eta that they could deliver the main course meal out to the dining area that is but when the food got there the Burger was stone cold and when when it comes to Steak you don't even use proper silverware to cut the Steak you use paper knives and forks in order for you to do that what kind of restaurant does that I've watched only 3 seasons of Kitchen Nightmares so far in my life and I have never seen a restaurant use paper knives and forks to cut steaks it's ridiculous I will say here is a picture of an example of the paper knives and forks that they use to cut steaks

Edit 2/27/25: IF YOU GO GET THE BREAD PUDDING EGG ROLLS. I got them to go tonight and and oh myyyyyyyyy. The deviled eggs and shrimp was delicious too!

Came in after a long day. Daytona took care of me and was super excellent. Both drinks she recommended were delicious. The wings were wonderful and the fries with the house made ranch were amazing. The camera didn’t get to eat first!
The owner, Melika, came to check on me and was super amazing herself. Both her and Daytona told me about the specials they have during the week (umm, 7$ lamb chops and lemon drops anyone?????). I also saw their brunch menu and am excited to try that out.
As a metry resident, worth the trek to the East! Great time and looking forward to coming again soon!

Parking: Strip mall with plenty of parking.

Omg! Worse experience ever! I’m a native and I love supporting start-up businesses or new restaurants but this one I’ll never support again! We waited an hour for our food the didn’t have that many people in there to wait an hour. Then my food came out cold. I wouldn’t have been that mad if my food would have been hot at least I know it’s fresh. One shrimp in my “shrimp & grits” which contains sausage (I don’t eat pork therefore I don’t eat all brands of sausage that’s why I ordered seafood items) the fish that I paid $10 for tasted like mustard. I brung to the servers attention that I only had one shrimp in my food so she took it back to get me more shrimp they added more sauce and one more shrimp. Now my food is unbearably cold so I asked her to put it in the microwave. Full attitude face bald up and tone angry. I started to tell her don’t worry about the food at all but I wanted to enjoy brunch and watch the game so I gave them another chance to correct it! Bad decision on my part. My husband had lamb chops and grits he said they had no flavor. Then the bill comes and 18 % gratuity is added to the bill. Crazy but when the do stuff like that they play themselves because I’m a good tipper but u told me what u want so u get no extra.

Tonight, I had the opportunity to experience this phenomenal restaurant with my cousins! We truly enjoyed ourselves. The food was amazing. The drinks were tasty. The hookahs were perfect. Oh and did I mention the owner was there working with her staff ensuring stupendous service. Our waitress provided stupendous service by going above and beyond ensuring that we had everything we needed. The chef ensured we had everything we needed and stopped at our table to ensure we were okay! The D.J. played a combination of music for everyone to enjoy!
Superior service…don’t be afraid to stop in New Orleans East to enjoy the experience! I am DEFINITELY returning!!! I

As a New Orleans native and owner of a tour company, I’m always on the lookout for authentic spots to recommend to my guests. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting The Verdict in New Orleans East, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with the kind of Southern hospitality that makes this city so special. The bartenders and waitstaff welcomed me like family, setting the tone for a truly memorable visit.

The atmosphere at The Verdict is lively yet comfortable, combining a chic, modern aesthetic with the warmth of New Orleans tradition. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re looking to relax with friends, enjoy a date night, or simply get a taste of local culture. The staff’s attention to detail was evident in every interaction, and their eagerness to make me feel at home made a big impression.

Food & Drinks:
The drinks were phenomenal—creative, well-balanced, and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re a fan of classic cocktails or prefer something a bit more adventurous, The Verdict has something for everyone. The mixologists know how to capture the essence of New Orleans in every glass, with drinks that are both visually stunning and deliciously complex.

And the food? Let’s just say it’s New Orleans on a plate! The flavors are bold, authentic, and unmistakably local, with dishes that honor the city’s culinary heritage. From fresh seafood to perfectly seasoned Creole dishes, every bite was a reminder of why I love this city’s cuisine. It’s the type of food that feeds the soul, capturing the heart of New Orleans in every mouthful.

Special Shoutout to DAI:
If you’re visiting in the evening, make sure to ask for DAI! She’s an absolute gem of a server and bartender who takes hospitality to the next level. Not only is she knowledgeable about the menu, but her energy and warmth make every moment special. Her passion for what she does shines through, making her an unforgettable part of the experience.

If you’re in New Orleans and looking for a spot that combines fantastic food, expertly crafted drinks, and the warmest service in town, I highly recommend stopping by The Verdict. It’s the perfect blend of New Orleans charm and quality, and I’ll definitely be back—and bringing my guests along too!
