My wife and I live in New Jersey and watch the web streams, we love it we feel like we're there (it's a nice 'night out' when we're exhausted from work and don't want to go anywhere.)
Only complaint we have, the audio feed on the stream isn't the best, almost like it's a webcam mic and not a feed from the soundboard. Still a great watch regardless.

We came to the Cats Meow for my sisters bachelorette party and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was incredible and the dj and host was high energy and so fun! Would recommend the party package too!

Really strange karaoke bar. We were wanting to close out a night on bourbon with some karaoke when we put our names in the que. What we thought would be maybe a 20-30 minute wait turned into almost two hours. I know that sounds like a ridiculous exaggeration. One friend was determined so we stayed, but they have a staff member sing between each customer. On top of that, the person that was managing who was going up next put multiple head of us.

If you want karaoke while in New Orleans, this is the place to go. The bar is incredibly fun and has an outdoor tiki option for those who need a break.
The team in charge of karaoke is great. We went two different nights and were pleased with the operation. My only critique would be we found it odd that the DJ HAD to sing every other song, which significantly impacted the wait time before you got up on stage. That said, it was still a great time.

Place is amazing only problem and why I didn't give 5 stars. They have like 40 people on the list and your workers sing in-between each paying customer on the list. I can see this if you were dead. Plus the young lady taking names seemed very annoyed. Great place paying customers should have priority.

When I go to karaoke, it’s because I want to sing. But at this place, it felt like the staff gets to sing more than the customers. The list to perform was already ridiculously long, and in between almost every song, a staff member would hop up and do one, sometimes even two, songs. So basically, you end up waiting forever for your turn. On top of that, their song selection is super limited, only a small set of approved tracks. After an hour of waiting, I bailed and went to Garage Music Club instead. Way better vibe, and you can actually sing whatever you want. Honestly, night and day difference.

This place is so close to being perfect.... Their beer and liquor deals are incredible and their venue is perfect. The problems are two fold: they only have three pages of songs to sing and their KJ insists on singing every other song no matter how busy it gets. He's a very friendly and endearing guy, but it's ridiculous that any karaoke bar would let their KJ sing literally every other song. If there's 4 people on the list, expect the spacing of 8 songs minimum. You could maybe argue that this leads to more alcohol sales, but their prices are so cheap that it doesn't feel like it's bait for alcohol sales. Anyway, great venue just be super patient and willing to listen to the KJ all night.

I sang Folsom Prison Blues here many moons ago! I had sooo much fun! It was such a great experience without being too overthetop crazy, and I felt way less nervous than usual despite being on a stage!

Horrible KJ dude literally sang his own song after every patron. Very limited choices of music. The bartender was nice.
This place used to be fun. Now there is a person gatekeeping the sign up list trying to extort people and a kj that blocks singers time with manic behavior and singing full songs between each singer. But the person doing sign-ups was horrible and rude. I came in with 10 friends because they wanted to hear me sing. While there 30 more friends showed up. Myself and a few others signed up and there were 5 people previously in line prior to me. I waited for over an hour watching the board constantly and seeing her continuously adding names in front of others and my name continuously in the next in line for the call board. I asked here when I would be put on the call board and she said the others were prior to me. The person who signed immediately prior to me had sung 45 minutes earlier. I waited another half hour and asked again and again she asked my name as I was pointing to it on the list and she said I would be next...30 minutes later still no and I went to her again and at this point she said I must pay her money if I wanted to sing. I said she should have mentioned this earlier and she told me she was too busy to talk to me. I had full intention of tipping $20 which I had put in my pocket for that upon entry for just one song. But at her continuously being rude to me there was no way I was giving her anything. After another 20 minutes she put me on the call board but proceeded to not call me and added more singers in front. I had enough as there was a large group asking me how much longer. They were there as my fans. I went and stood in front of her with her again asking my name while I pointed at it and said to her straight up that I would be going next as it was way past my turn. I sang, the crowd went wild throwing beed and boas and celebrating. The bartenders and the doorman even sought me out to tell me how awesome.....I am not the only one with this experience. It is horrible and extortionist. I go to places you pay by the song and it is up front, but this list manager and kj are going to kill your business and I doubt you are seeing any of the proceeds. So disappointed

Probably one of the most fun Karaoke bars/experiences!! The MC is hella funny and his crowd interaction is top-notch. Our cheeks hurt from smiling/laughing for hours straight.
