I didn't have food so it feels unfair to rate it low. But the staff was so nice, the vibe was great. Karaoke was limited to the songs they had on their list, probably like 250ish songs.
Parking: On bourbon street, parking it nearly impossible.
Kid-friendliness: Don't bring your kid to a bar
Wheelchair accessibility: Meh, I don't think bourbon street is very wheelchair friendly, but this place wasn't bad. Stairs up to the karaoke stage so if you have low mobility you can't really go on the stage.

Cats Meow is one of those spots that depends on. The crowd. If the crowd is OK, your experience will be OK. My recent visit was OK ALTHOUGH the host was awesome đ
They tried to say our Bahamian driverâs license were fraudulent because they werenât familiar with the ID. Very insulting. Said we needed a passport as standard protocol but there was nothing in writing because the place was thoroughly searched prior to our visit. Everywhere on Bourbon Street accepted our license. The staff need to be educated on international travelers. Bahamians do not walk around with their passports because it is very difficult to replace! The one star is because I couldnât give a zero!!!!!

Drinks? $10 for a Corona. $10 for a 4 oz mixed drink on ice. Maybe I just hate this vibe, but this *wasn't* a good karaoke if you want to SING. The staff here do every other song, sometimes more. The idea is that they put you on the list and you stay and drink waiting for your turn - but the staff that sing aren't great in the in between. We had three requests from our party go on the list in our first 5 minutes there. Person for request 1 left after 45 minutes waiting. Request 2 got to go on stage at about an hour, and request 3 left at 1:15 there. The time waiting was not because of the crowd - it was light that night - but because the staff sing every other or 2 songs for every guest song.

I have no words... If you want a decent selection of music and a diverse, fun atmosphere... go somewhere else.

The best
Super fun and the DJs are very entertaining. It can get slow during the week of course, but we still had a great time. We will definitely go back next time we visit!

Went with my girls and had a great time!! Lindsey at the bar was WONDERFUL!! She made my night so much better <3 only complaint is I requested 5 different songs to sing that they did not have. The DJ said she didnât have ânewâ songs which I understand, but I requested one from 2016 they didnât have. Made me sad because itâs my favorite to sing. Otherwise we had a wonderful experience and will gladly visit again!!!

Mixed review. Bar tenders? Awesome, fun, friendly!! Drinks? Cheap and easy to get service.
The karaoke host?? He was a riot BUT towards the end of the night when the line to sign up is over 20 people deep and you signed up at 830 and you don't get your chance till 1130-12 because he sings/performs between Every. Single. Song... it's pretty frustrating.
Additionally, the list of songs is super limited and if the host has planned to sing a song you want you have to pick something else.
Bottom line - the host is the entertainer and although he IS fun (again, don't get me wrong, we had a blast in the begining) if you are going to sing karaoke, really the customer is just the interlude for the host and not the other way around. If you have limited time in NOLA and want to explore you might get stuck. I would recommend signing up then barhopping for a bit and coming back if the line is long and you really want to sing there.

The MCs sing every other song which is not ok and unfair to fellow karaoke singers.
If you haven't been here you haven't had the full Bourbon Street experience. What fun in that tent!

I did like this place, the bar tenders all were nice, and i didnt wait long for a drink, based on the environment and bar tenders i would give this place 5 stars. But its not made aware if you pay $105 you bump people out of the way on karaoke list and also get a few drinks. They just said its not worth it but i prefer to get to make dicisions for myself since i am an adult. Especially when i paid a uber and came across the bridge just to hang out and sing one song at their place. I would return here but i recommend the company letting people know about the bump or cut in line for $$$ situation on arrival or at least when you sign up for a song.
