My husband and I were vacationing in New Orleans and stop by to get breakfast. It was a 40 minute wait and this place was crowded and very small! We thought the food must be great! The service was good and the was ok not what I was expecting specifically for the price of breakfast. Overall everything else was good.

Went here for breakfast Sunday and I was not impressed with this place what so ever. The server forgot my meal entirely and I when I told him I was missing my plate he actually gave the “I know” stop your complaining attitude. I told him to just take it off my tab at that point and when I asked for a refill in coffee he took well over 20 minutes. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere where they will treat you with a little respect.

We had breakfast everyday here during our recent trip in New Orleans. That tells you how much we loved this place.
Great food, superb service, reasonable prices and good vibe.
It’s always a bit tricky for vegetarians to find food in the Southern states, but there are a couple of options at this restaurant. They could also do gluten-free buns!

There is a lot of 5 star reviews in NOLA, but this place deserves it every bit. If I knew what I was getting, I would have paid even more.

Just got done eating here 15 minutes ago and I am slightly disappointed. Essence was rude to many people, she ignored myself as well as others who tried to get her attention and I even heard her say under her breath “I’m obviously doing something”. On my way to complain about her I saw and heard others complaining about her, as well as another young lady who was upset behind the way Essence had spoken to her and she was leaving saying “it’s the way you talk to people”. I complained to the manager on duty, Lidia, who was understanding and receptive to what I was telling her about her staff and the mishap with my food. Essence should be coached on professionalism or be terminated. Her attitude and demeanor towards people is spoiling experiences!
Great service, great food!
