Cozy spot tucked in Algiers, New Orleans oldest neighborhood - and vest kept secret ;) As of Sept 14 2024, they are offering brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Brunch standards include omelettes, tartiness, and poulet and waffles. Some dinner items have spilled over into brunch and include the classic French onion soup and Brussels salad. Prompt service with well executed cocktails with a great beer and wine selection add plus to the experience.
First time dining here, and it won't be the last. The cocktails were delicious, food was simple but well executed, and we were already talking about coming back before dessert arrived. The entire FOH were lovely & helpful, which led to great service from the time we were initially greeted to our final aperitif. And we weren't rushed out so they could flip a table, which truly added to the European vibes at this cozy neighborhood spot. Thank you!
Worth taking the ferry to cross the river. The caprese salad is amazing and I wish I would have added chicken to it and ordered it as my meal.
