One server doing bar and tables. Took my money for two drinks and it took more than 10 minutes. Finally left the bar without the drink!!!
Just got 2 roast beef poboys they were really good
Great food and service both times I've visited New Orleans ❤
Great food, great staff! We've stopped in twice this trip. The Spicy Etouffee was delicious, the white beans are a must try! If you're in the mood for a po boy, you can't go wrong with a blackened shrimp po boy here!Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Prompt service. Certainly worth stopping by!
Really great Blackened Chicken Salad!
I Have travelled extensively to New orleans. I was excited to try a new highly rated restaurant. Though the ratings were so high i was somewhat disappointed. to start the service wasn't that great. The bartender did address us promptly. He was alone and had to wait on tables in addition to tending bar. We went on an off hour and there was only one patron at the bar and 2 other occupied tables. The bartender took our order and was delivered shorty after that. He did not return to check on the table . I would have liked a refill on water. The bartender was busy chatting it up with 1 bar patron.I even had to got up to the bar to ask for the check and then after 10 mins had to go back to the bar to pay There was also another worker walking around and i thought him to be the manager. Although the bartender obviously needed some help this other person did not help.. Food was mediocre. Standard fried shrimp po boy and gumbo. The spinach dip was alright also. Nothing really wrong but nothing outstanding. Food was ok but nothing like i gotta go back ever.
Is a great place to hang out, and has awesome food. Was my nightly hang out.
Friendly bartender, good drinks and tasty gumbo.
A taste of N'Orleans..... Creole pub restaurant. We had Shrimp Poboys. 1 fried & 1 blacked. Really good????. Cold beer & friendly atmosphere.
The bartender, manager, and waitstaff were all so much fun to talk to, and the drinks were so good!

Happened in one day as it near our hotel and looked folksy. Not many patrons but it was mid-afternoon. We tried the gumbo and it was delicious.
Kitchen seems to vary - please compare pics - white beans with shrimp. It was a stew of everything and that's how it tasted. Nothing was fried separately as some pics show. The rice was partly dry and old. The bread dead before it was "roasted". Cannot recommend.
Very tasty food, great staff, well priced.
Very good food. Reasonably priced. Our party had catfish, shrimp, a white bean shrimp dish and gumbo.. it was all perfect. Only one server and he was stellar!
Walked around town looking for a good place for lunch, stumbled upon this place. Friends got the chicken sandwich and alfredo+shrimp noodles and both enjoyed their meal. I got the $9 gumbo and was impressed. Excellent flavor, the stew had a gravy-like base flavor was obviously prepared seperately from the sausage that was in it, since the sausage itself was bursting with flavor and had not yet leeched into the rest of the bowl. I'd definitely order it again.
