The Crawfish Pie was awesome and perfect for a cold evening meal (highly recommend). Shrimp and grits were good as well. The blue crab soup and intercontinental oysters were only okay IMO (nothing that I would dream about). Service and atmosphere were good. Restaurant is located Inside the intercontinental hotel.

Food was great and service was outstanding! We had a great time along with a good wine selection.

We arrived early and were seated right away. The food was excellent as well as the service. The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas.

Food was excellent. Our service was not. We had to ask for water (and not refilled), did not ask if we wanted another drink. Also they brought us the bill without asking if we wanted dessert. We were checked on at all during the meal - just served and then brought the bill.

Excellent meal! A different menu from previous reservations, but not disappointed. The Blue Crab Bisque, Chopped Salad, and Scallop/Shrimp/Pork Belly trio with pickled peppers and fresh corn maque choux were all delicious!

Was very underwhelmed. For a restaurant with such high ratings, I expected more. It felt like a sports bar inside. Kind of like an airport restaurant or something like that. The food was okay. Nothing special. The scallops were overpriced for being very very small. Wish we had chosen another dish.

Even though the restaurant is in a hotel, its a very personal menu from the executive chef. The cuisine is very " local". I've been many times, and its always very good. Our service was very personal. Many people helped with food and drinks, never need to ask for assistance.

This was easily the worst fine dining restaurant that we can remember. We began our meal with a bottle of the best Cabernet Sauvignon on the menu and this should’ve been adequate warning. The bottle cost $60 and was clearly bottom grocery shelf wine. We then ordered six char grilled oysters and found them to be overwhelmed with pecorino Romano cheese and quite literally so small that they may have been cut in half. My wife ordered their red fish entrĂ©e selection and she was immediately dismayed to find that the fish was way overcooked, over seasoned and dry. Vegetables that accompanied her meal were clearly processed canned or frozen selections that no self-respecting chef would’ve put on a plate. I ordered the divers scallops that were accompanied by chunks of pork belly and three shrimp. While the scallops were cooked perfectly, the pork belly and shrimp were again way overcooked, rendering them hard and dry. The vegetables that accompanied my meal again were clearly either canned or frozen. After a few minutes of discussion, we decided that we weren’t paying for either meal and sent both of them back, requesting that the manager or chef come to the table. During that process, the waiter asked if we would like anything else, and my wife asked for a bowl of blue crab bisque. The waiter was quite clear that the bisque would contain lump crab meat. Shortly after, the executive chef arrived at the table delivering the bowl of bisque. We took a few minutes to share our concerns with the executive chef, who at first admitted issues by indicating that these dinners “fell through the cracks” since he was briefly out of the kitchen. As we continued our discussion he then looked me in the eye and said “I don’t need to be lectured by you”. After the chef left the table, we tried the crab bisque and found that it tasted like a bad version of watery chicken stock. Of course, there was no crab to be found anywhere in it. We then also sent this dish back. It was now after 5pm and we were the only occupied table in the restaurant, except for one hotel guest. We paid for the wine and oysters and left disgusted. Since this restaurant is a tenant of the intercontinental hotel, we went to the front desk to advise that the restaurant was disparaging the reputation of this hotel. We shared our experience with the hotel front desk and later by phone with the hotels general manager. Clearly, there are many wonderful choices for food in the French Quarter of New Orleans. We would sincerely recommend that you choose one of those other establishments.

I got to the hotel late after a very long day of traveling and I had the most amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, I got the whipped feta appetizer and the blue crab bisque. Every single staff I interacted with was super friendly and genuinely nice. Isaac was my server and the manager Fabio, thank you for the most wonderful customer experience, you made my day so much better! I would 100% recommend it and will come back.

Open Table had this place ranked #1. Minimum rank Saiki's be 50 in NOLA. Oysters and shrimp were definitely not as good as previous restaurants. Service was nominal. Would not recommend

Cool looking restaurant that had great service.

I tried an authentic po’boy for the first time. I don’t care for shrimp too much but got their 30A with roast beef half with gumbo for lunch and it was perfect. I get what all the hype is about po’boys now.
