SOME OF THE BEST CAJUN FOOD IVE EVER EATED THERE YUMMY THE CLASSIC CATFISH IS GOOD AND THE FRIES WITH CAJUN SEASONING ALSO THE CAJUN BEANS ARE REALLY GOOD. ALSO IF YOUR LIKE MORE BAYOU TYPE FOODS INSTEAD OF SEA FOOD ASK FOR THE SPICY SHRIMP GUMBO ALSO THE STAFF IS WHITE CAJUNS AND IT IS A TRADITIONAL CAJUN RESTAURANT ONE OF THE BEST I KNOW
We recently moved from the Lower Garden District to Bywater, are exploring nearby take-out options, and decided to give True Cajun Seafood at try, in hopes of getting banh mi as promoted on their signage. The owner, Mr. Billy, explained that his mother-in-law used to make them but she's since retired.So we decided to get fried shrimp po-boys which did not disappoint.
