True Food Kitchen is one of my favorite places in Houston, so when I found it in NOLA I knew it would be a safe bet. Super gluten-free and dairy-free friendly — and delicious! To my surprise, they even had local New Orleans dishes adapted to their style, which I thought was brilliant.
We stopped by in the afternoon, so we shared a gluten-free, dairy-free pizza which, despite my dad’s skeptical look, turned out to be so good he couldn’t stop eating it 🤣.

Service was extremely slow. Waiter was very good but there was no reason in my opinion for a Chinese chicken salad to take so long when the place was not busy at all. Good customer service 👍 however

It was a nice day, of sales& networking. Never ventured out this way, but this place was suggested by the manager of the place I was showcasing in. I was asked, how I’d like my burger… that to me, makes a difference. My fries were air fried& the sauce on my charbroiled beef patty was tasty. The fries were seasoned, nicely. Will, return on the 25th with friends after my event.
