The waiter and the waitress are very friendly and excellent attitudes. We expected that they serve the wine first then food. But they served the first course soup , and then they served the wine later. I never saw like that. The food taste amazing

Great food, but the service was pretty awful. The table next to us literally waited 20 mins before being able to place a drink order, and it wasn't busy. I don't know if I'll go here again.

Deon was amazing, very attentive but not intrusive. The food was fabulous! Full of flavor and very filling.

Dietary restrictions: They had quite a few gluten free options.

Food was excellent. Had the shrimp crepes, had to stop myself from ordering another plate. The redfish was cooked perfectly. Cool atmosphere, a little noisy upstairs but that can't be helped in such a unique building. Definitely worth a visit.

This was our first time to visit Tujagues. We loved it. The gnocchi and shrimp crepes were excellent. The sugar cane vinaigrette on the house salad was light and not drowning the salad. The redfish and the hangar steak entrees were cooked just right temperature and seasoning wise. Dessert was crème brûlée and a blueberry cobbler. It was delicious as well.

We made our way toTujague's. It's been around since 1853. The current location is so nice and sadly the sign from the original location is stuck in limbo since the original location is a national landmark. But the food is still spot on! Everything was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Great experience. Pork porterhouse was tender and delicious. Also best gumbo we ever had. Friendly, attentive service from Townsend and Hailey (sorry if I misspelled your names) Overall great meal. No complaints. Will return next time in New Orleans

Another overrated FQ restaurant. First of all it smelled moldy and it was unnecessarily dark in the restaurant. Service was meh!
The bbq shrimp and grits were just too salty and lacked real seasoned flavor. Yuck. Won’t be eating there again. Disappointing.

Very impressive new location. Superb waitstaff and service, happy and professional. Andouille gumbo extraordinary, a potatoes side perfect, they made me a delicious lemonade, and the bananas foster bread pudding perfect with a great sauce. I can't wait to return. Fabulous upstairs with one huge room in a very classy Carnival decor. This place is a winner all the way. I recommend wholeheartedly. A must. We ate for lunch but dinner should also be superb!!

One of the better, if maybe less known, French Quarter restaurants, and probably the best food you can have near Canal Street. The BQ shrimp is world class, and should not be missed,; same for the rolled goat cheese crepe appetizer. The pork porterhouse was good, not great, but on a previous visit the garlic chicken special was absolutely wonderful. Cocktails are very well made, and the recommend wine pairings were also delicious. Highly recommend, and shout out to Christian, who gave us great service at the bar!

Outstanding. Highly recommend.

Our servers, Deon and Maurice were very friendly and made some great food recommendations. They were attentive, always there when we needed them. Our meal was one of the best we’ve had in quite some time (we travel a LOT and frequently dine out at home in ATL). Great price point for being in the quarter, especially given the quality and volume of food. Not sure why anyone would settle for bar food in the area when this isn’t much more expensive and the food is worlds better.

The Pork Porterhouse was delicious and the portion was substantial. The sweet potato and collard greens were some of the very best we’ve had. All cooked perfectly.

The chicken and sausage gumbo was fantastic, as were the boudin balls with a pepper jelly aioli - try both. Thank me later.

For dessert, we had grasshopper aperitif and the bread pudding - wow.

Great dining experience and will go back again this week to try other items on the menu.
