It's a dove bar so don't expect much but they have a pool table and inexpensive drinks. The bartender was really cool, down to earth guy

stopped by here because it was close to my hotel, and it was freaking pouring, as it tends to do in Southern Louisiana.
It was during Mardi Gras, and a bunch of groups of friends were in there, drinking and carousing. the bartender, Emily, a cute 20 something hipster was nice, but made a studied effort in not checking if I wanted another drink , requiring me to signal for her attention on more than one occasion.
eventually I just left
I don't think I was being rude, or standoffish, quite the opposite.
it's a neat little bar with a friendly atmosphere, but their bartender needs a little lesson in customer service

I've been hanging out on this side of the Greenway as of late and bar hopping around this area. I really like this bar even if I've only been twice. First time I popped in, they were having a dance party and the DJ was doing a good job spinning. The place was packed, everyone dancing, playing pool and having a good time. Oddball me finds a spot at the bar and starts reading. But it's NOLA so by the end of the night I've made friends and end up at some strangers house party. Second time around I stumbled back from watching the game at Holy ground to drown my sorrows. Being early evening before the holidays it was basically empty. I had a couple beers, big plus for having 2 hearted, and chatted with the bartender and another couple. It feels really comfortable here. They play good music, have a pool table, they have trivia and regular DJs. The 1st time they were playing anime, plus black bartenders in mid city. Not sure if it's black owned, but I'm here to support and represent. I do want to try their kitchen, the menu looks good.

Great neighborhood bar with delicious pop-up food on a regular basis. A good selection of spirits and beer. The beer is cold and the cocktails are well prepared. Excellent service even on a crowded evening.

Kristen was inattentive and expressed prejudice against me. I don’t support establishments that employ such bad actors.Wouldn’t
