Went here and had the Miso Ramen and the oyster mushrooms in it were out of this world delicious! Every part of this dish was fantastic.

The purse dumplings and the spicy marg have a CHOKEHOLD on a close friend of mine, and whenever I join her I get sucked in, too. The rest of the food is tasty as well, but if you're popping in for just a drink, the purse dumplings and spicy margarita will leave you pleasant and joyful. Sit at the bar and get jovial with a bartender

This is a cozy spot with very flavorful ramen dishes. I had the Vegan Miso Ramen and it tasted delicious. This might be one of the best I’ve had. I will certainly be back when visiting New Orleans!

The taste was good but the overall experience wasn’t good. We stopped in while making our way around the city and sat at the bar and were taken care of by Thalia b. The first issue was they were out of ingredients to make a signature cocktail. After that, we decided on a simple kids ramen because the choices could be complicated and the wait for the food was over an hour. Literally no one in the place was eating. Once we finally got our food she was talking to the gentlemen with blonde hair and I heard her commenting negatively on the fact that we only ordered a kids portion and made a disgusted face. It’s a shame that their bartenders behave so unprofessionally.

without a doubt, the best Ramen in the New Orleans/Metairie area. No other Ramen comes close to this broth which is rich and velvety. I think I'm obsessed. This quaint place is perfect for couples and solo lunches. Many were solo enjoying a book or catching up on social media. It's a bit pricy but well worth it.

Warning to large parties: they would only allow our party of 7 to split our check three ways. I have never been to an establishment that would not allow a group, even groups of 10-12 people, to split checks down to the individual.

I've visited Union Ramen twice: once during their winter menu and once about a week ago. The kale and mushroom salad, which I ordered both times was a clear standout. I would eat it three times a day, every day if I good. The ramen, however, was underwhelming both times. While the toppings and the combination of toppings is incredible, both broths lacked flavor. Just bland! I'm not sure of what method they're using to create it but there's no way that it's been cooked with the bones and sinew and fat for the hours that a traditional ramen broth requires. If they're going the vegan route (and I was a vegan for years, so that's perfectly okay!) the menu would benefit from that kind of transparency. And salt. It could benefit from some salt as well.

I was very excited to try this restaurant but left quite disappointed. Although the service was good, the quality of food was lackluster. I had the super-saiyan ramen, and most of the meat was extremely salty without much flavor. Some of the noodles tasted undercooked while the broth was just okay. Additionally, different parts of the dish were cold. My girlfriend had the miso ramen, which according to the menu is the 'best of New Orleans,' and also thought it was rather bland. It felt like our food was just kind of rushed through without any real care given to the quality. Maybe we just came in at a bad time or something else was up, but based on that experience, I would not recommend.
