Came here for dinner on a Friday. Was a little late (9:15ish). The service was pretty lacking, he took our order and we never saw him again. So no refills, and when the food came out cold there was no one around to fix it. It seemed like a fairly quiet evening. We could see kitchen staff hanging out by the kitchen door, it felt like because we were there a bit later everyone was rushing so they could go home. Had to go find someone so we could pay the check.
To top it off, there’s an automatic 20% service charge on every check. Maybe that explains the lack of effort—if the tip’s guaranteed, why bother? I’m happy to tip 20% or more for good service, but this experience didn’t come close to earning it.
