Was in NOLA four years ago for a convention. VASO was our go-to in the evenings. Convention again this Dec and looking forward to hitting this place again. Good band, can't remember the name. Skinny white guy on lead guitar was fantastic. Restroom so-so, but spent my time sitting at a table:-) Prices reasonable. Looking forward to our visit.
We enjoyed a great band and company, but when I got home and checked my receipts versus the charges on my bill, the bartender was doubling the tip I left. We bought two drinks and left a $2. tip and he changed it to a $5. tip.
We have been here many times and is one of the key music spots on Frenchmen Street. In fact, it was the first place we went to on our first trip to Frenchmen Street. This place doesn't keep a up to date music calendar on-line, but it really doesn't matter. ANYONE who is playing here will keep you here.
