Just got back from vacay and NEEDED something my grandma would’ve made. I got the smothered okra and it was delicious ! I wish it was seasoned more. However the cornbread was amazing. Best cornbread i’ve ever had.
Food was good customer service was excellent they even had a little live jazz playing definitely will be back if you're in New Orleans check this place out you won't regret it
One of my go to spots. The food and service is always excellent- patience, smiles and kindness. My family loves the smothered okra, cabbage, hot sausage and cornbread. The hog's head cheese is also really good. Highly recommended, it is a true taste of New Orleans.
