Spicy muffuletta and beers for takeaway. Great spot for a bite to-go in the quarter.

We spent some time in the French Quarter and decided to try a couple different spots to find the best sandwich we could. The fried shrimp poboy from Verti Marte blew all of the competition out of the water. The place feels unapologetically authentic, and the staff was friendly enough to give us some recommendations on where to get a good muffuletta sandwich (they were out of the bread) and what their favorite beignet spots were. Overall we highly recommend.

It was a pretty good po boy. I sort of prefer a crispier bread like Parker's

Their sandwiches are fresh and so good. We ate here two nights in a row. I had never had a mufelatta before and it didn’t disappoint but the Philly cheesesteaks was my favorite.

Great hidden gem! Popular for locals. Bit of a wait cause it’s popular. Was well worth it. Went back to the hotel, crushed it and slumped to reenergize for later.
Great little corner market with most anything you'd need for a stay in an airbnb or hotel with kitchenette. Great little deli inside for fresh cooked deliciousness. And the entire staff have awesome personalities.

O.M.G. is all I can say. We were looking for a great place for muffulettas and Verti Marte did not disappoint. Decent line but we were served quickly. Definitely consider splitting sandwiches. The spicy muffuletta was awesome. I wish we'd found it sooner so I could have eaten there twice!
