Vincent's Italian Cuisine

I expected northern Italian food like what we have in NJ and NY, and this food was relatively tasteless and more Olive Garden than Naninas. While the owner and hostess were great, our waitress was ok at best (on an admittedly busy parents weekend at Tulane). After a great dinner at Val’s the night before, Vincent’s was average. I had hoped for a different outcome.

Passable eggplant entre.Cold pasta side & barely recognizable & cold green beans. Abrupt wait service. We felt that we were hustled out. Too bad. We are locals. We knew Vincent. He would not be happy.

Enjoyed a really excellent dining experience, from a delicious meal and cocktails (and dessert - save room!), to attentive and friendly service all night, to authentic old-school ambiance. There’s not one moment that I didn’t feel welcomed and cared for by wait staff and management - even despite a sort-of chaotic front door situation which resulted in my being seated 15 minutes after my reservation on an admittedly busy evening. I can’t wait to return for another Vincent’s New Orleans experience including excellent cuisine and warm, welcoming staff.

Excellent service and incredible food. Well seasoned and very hot. Hands down the best Italian I’ve ever had. This is where the locals go.

A group of 12 of us went for a birthday dinner on Wednesday, October 1, and it was fabulous! The service was incredible! Our server was great (I forgot her name), and there was a gentleman who was bussing the table and refilling our glasses, and he was so friendly and attentive! The seafood medallions entree was extraordinary, and my boyfriend enjoyed his lasagna. We got a Caesar salad to split, and it was amazing! We also got a corn and crab bisque, and that was the only thing I was disappointed in. It was good, but I’ve had better and wouldn’t order it again. Other than that, everything was perfect! Great ambiance! Amazing service and wonderful food!

First time here in NOLA and this is my favorite place I have ever ate at!!! Incredible! Waitress was very pleasant and we received top notch service. The best atmosphere for a date night hands down. Started off with the parmesan shrimp and it was amazing. Ordered a small caesar salad and wow for a small it was huge! But that is a good thing. Big portions and the prices are reasonable and makes sense! Had the chicken marsala for the entree and it was to die for, so many great flavors. Finished it off with the white chocolate bread pudding, and I left feeling so full and very satisfied! When we come back to NOLA again we will absolutely come back here to eat! Thank you staff for the amazing experience!!!💖

First time stopping to try this place and WOW! Parking is difficult but that's anywhere near the city. Interior atmosphere was a little cramped but cozy and very nice. Service was absolutely wonderful and the food was absolutely AWESOME! Everyone got something delicious. I highly recommend the seafood stuffed shrimp. Well worth it.

The service was excellent, the ambiance is wonderful. I had the chicken carbonara and my husband had the red fish. Before the meal we had the okra, big mistake could not stop eating it. The server was very personable, and actually helped with my selection. The bread pudding is worth over eating for. When I was there the restaurant actually received a call from Aretha Franklin. It definitely has to be good!!!

You go to New Orleans for the great Louisiana food. They come here for Italian. It’s pretty good. The decor is classic Godfather cafe. But go to New York for Italian.
