While riding the street car, we got a recommendation. We visited on a Saturday for an early dinner, it was already starting to get busy (get a reservation). Great old school generational Italian atmosphere. We ordered a bottle of wine and the Rockefeller Oysters...they were outstanding!! For dinner, we ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the Veal Roberto. Both dishes were excellent!! Very fresh ingredients and well prepared. We saw desserts moving around the restaurant and they looked really good! However, we opted for "liquid dessert" and got an espresso martini and an old fashioned. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent! They do Italian right!!

Of ALL the years that I've been frequenting Vincent's, unfortunately this evening when I wanted to impress out of town guests, the staff failed to impress. Hope management is able to correct issues with staffing otherwise they should control the reservations to ensure customers receive proper service. It's not always about filling tables.

Superb food in a very nice setting. Good service. Very consistent with a varied menu of Italian favorites and local New Orleans seafood.

Quaint Italian restaurant with phenomenal service & good food. We didn't have reservations & were quickly seated. The complimentary warm bread with a crunchy crust & soft middle is delicious, it's served with a whipped garlic & green onion butter... delicious... We ordered the seafood stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer (we visited early & they were already "out of" a few appetizers & entrees), the cream sauce is delicious as were the mushrooms (save some bread for the sauce ?)... entrees were Bracialoni (veal & artichoke was a bit overcooked on one of them) & Veal Seafood Medallions, which I highly recommend. Order it with the veal as a substitute for the eggplant??‍?? ? wait staff is phenomenal & honest with recommendations.

Step back in time to the classic crooners era. Exceptional customer service. 1pm on Thursday, driving down St. Charles passing the time until I needed to be some place, passed this little gem and decided to pop in. I was immediately greeted and sat by Mr. Otis. Promptly bringing water. Mr. Georgio informed me of the availability of fresh softshells, and took my order. Sitting by the window watching the beautiful streetcars going up and down St. Charles. There was a few people in the restaurant but it was a whole vibe. Meal was fantastic. I watch a sweet older couple ask Mr. Georgio about the street car, he walked the couple across the street and give instructions on what to do. Absolutely suggest taking the time to visit. Two guests, appetizer, 2 lunch specials, water and tea bill was in the mid $60s without tip.

The food was absolutely delicious. Started my meal with the crab and corn bisque in the bread bowl. Absolutely delicious could have eaten two of them. My next course was crabcakes and fettuccine. The crabcakes were full of lump crab meat, and were very rich and delicious. The fettuccine Was divine. Then came my chocolate martini For dessert. Along with that came a cockroach. Landed on my husband's head and fluttered around like a hummingbird. To say the least, I was hysterical and ran from our table when the cockroach landed on the tablecloth. There were several cockroaches in the restaurant tonight obviously trying to get away from the heat and into the cool ...is what the manager said. Lmao!!!! Which doesn't make sense to me at all. A simple I'm sorry would have gone along way, but we did not even get that. VINCENT needs to spray or insecticide . I can't imagine what their kitchen looks like at night when the lights go out. This is the first time I have ever encountered cockroaches in a restaurant in New Orleans. We can say we're in New Orleans however, I have never encountered cockroaches in a restaurant. Do better, Vincent's. No excuse for this.

I was so excited to finally eat here. I came here for a laissez-faire romantic lunch with my date earlier today. I ordered two appetizers to get a taste for the menu— The Rose of Sicily and Meatballs in Garlic crostini respectively. The food was delicious thus far. This was when I first noticed how unprofessional and rude our waitress was. I spent over a decade and a half in the service industry and tried to give her grace. It was a Tuesday lunch after all, but after we put our entree order in we decided to keep it brief based off of her demeanor. I can forgive a hungover, tired, over-worked waitress, but what I can’t forgive are bad manners. Before our entree was even packed up the check was casually thrown at me from her cheap lime-green acrylic nails without pause, eye contact, or modicum of decorum. I will come try Vincent’s again, but if she is my waitress I would rather anyone else wait on me.

Never a bad meal. Corn & crab in bread bowl is my go to. Make it to Vincent's in every trip to The Big Easy!!

Very decent place, had an appetizer with eggplant, very tasty. Also had the Italian salad, it came with olives, tomatoes, artichokes, with the Balsamic Vinegrette, enjoyed it greatly.0

I was very disappointed with my experience. We first got there and we were seated at a small table by a mirror, and were constantly getting bumped into (there should not have been a table in a walkway). The food was not good at all - cooked okay but lacked any flavor. The service was decent, but it still wasn't worth the $80+ my husband and I spent. Very disappointed considering this was an anniversary dinner.

I'm a former local who has literally dreamed about coming back to Vincent's St Charles. Well, we were able to visit on 2/29/24. The ambiance was just what we remembered. Tony was extremely welcoming and the staff (which was full of new faces) were great! Then some culinary misses threw us off. The food was still very flavorful, but not quite what we remembered. The salad with house dressing was good, but was served on top of an iceberg letdown. The veal Marsala was delicious, but too clarified butter forward. The side pasta was usually served with nice veggies came with some stewed beans. We will definitely be back, but hope the details get tightened up a bit. Thanks Vincent's St Charles!

The restaurant ambiance was classic and enjoyable. Service was attentive and fast. The salad I had was delicious. The pasta special was good but a little too much olive oil.
