The food was absolutely amazing! During our 5-day stay in New Orleans, we visited most of the city’s most popular restaurants, but surprisingly, the best food we had was right here at the Hyatt Regency restaurant. The shrimp, gumbo, oysters, and sushi were all delicious and top-notch.
Manager Arina and Kaleb made our evening truly special — warm, attentive, and full of great energy. Next time I’m in New Orleans, this will be the first place I come back to for an incredible meal.

As if the dry subpar steak ,grocery store sushi, bland miso soup and slimy gumbo weren’t bad enough there were COCKROACHES climbing the walls. Nice server but I probably won’t be back.

I loved the shrimp poboy & the vibe of this restaurant. Unfortunately the server abandoned us after bringing our food. We had to physically find him to ask for refills & the check. I’m surprised by this considering every Hyatt we’ve visited in several states has exemplary service. In any event, the hotel is beautiful & I am happy we chose to stay here.

Stopped by after Oct 5 Saints game
Sat at the bar and it was definitely hopping
Giang Vo appeared to be working the bar alone and doing a very efficient job of it
My brother and I were amazed as he handled drink and menu orders and no body was complaining
It looked like he finally got some help but we were so impressed watching him manage everything for awhile there
Hope you know what a valuable employee you have and reward him for the service he gives your customers
We will definitely be returning and hope to see him again

Staff are friendly. Their IPA beer is really good. Sushi was ok. Probably wouldn’t purchase the sushi or edamame again.

Vitascope was a restaurant my mother and visited when we stayed at the Hyatt Regional Hotel. Now even though I loved the drinks and the sushi roll, I was not a fan of the desert. I’m not a fan of a mushy texture located in the middle of something.

I’ve eaten here the past couple stays in New Orleans. The gumbo is pretty good for a hotel/restaurant bar and if I stay in the future would get the gumbo again. Skip the oysters, overpriced and way too small and the cheeseburger/po-boys. The drinks are pretty good.

For a hotel restaurant, one of the best in New Orleans! Try at least one meeting or meal at this place.
This is a great place to eat and have a cocktail, great vibe and great service. I want to give a shout out to one service waiter who went above and beyond to make sure I had the drink I ordered..he literally went to other bars in the hotel to get my drinks! Thank you Atharva for being the very best waiter I've met in a long time! Keep smiling my friend! PS he deserves a raise 🙌🎊🫶
Beautiful hotel and dining area, friendly staff, friendly waitress. Good food.
Atmosphere is solid. Food was average. I got a burger, hard to mess up a burger. Sweet potato fries were not hot but yet somehow most of them were overcooked. They don't accept cash, which is a knock against any establishment in my opinion.
