The food was amazing and the girl in there was the sweetest. She was so welcoming and did great service!! What ever you’re paying her she needs a raise!!!

Crispy and juicy fried chicken. Fries is pretty good as well. Quite affordable, for a place in French Quarter. But apparently there is supposed to be a biscuit included, but we didn't get it :/

Good food and really good customer service. Manager was welcoming. The daiquiris were very good.

On our New Orleans trip, my fiancé and I snuck away from a work event to grab a quick bite and take it to the hotel we were in nearby. We saw this kinda hole-in-the-wall, Voodoo Chicken & I was sold - I freakin' love wings. We walk in and there are several people behind the food area, but nobody behind the bar. The sign says to order at the bar, not the food area. Okay, got it. We waited. And waited. And waited. And nobody is helping us. A gentleman mentions after we openly wondered whether we should leave that the woman was in the restroom. We said okay, got it, we'll wait. We waited. It wasn't obnoxious, but it did take several seemingly long moments for the lady to come out. When she did, though, we were treated to a lovely conversation about how many bones she's broken, and how her grandma hadn't woken her up from when she set a small fire in her kitchen. We traded war stories while they whipped up voodoo wings & king cake ice cream for us (they also have giant vats of daquiris you can take with you along the street, since they have open-carry laws, but we were too tired for all that). We took it to the hotel to eat, where my fiancé had reasonably good chicken tenders, I enjoyed my sweet-with-some-heat-at-the-end voodoo wings, and we polished off the very good, mildly sweet, kinda cinnamony king cake ice cream (not much in the way of chunks of king cake in it, just FYI). We ate and slept like babies right after. It was tough to compete with the other sensational meals we had but the wings were pretty damn bomb; I'll always remember them.

Awesome service! We stopped by on Saturday (1/20) and were very impressed when the manager offered to make a new batch of chicken for us and let us sample a few of the daiquiris before we settled on one. All the food was amazing, chicken, fries, biscuit, gumbo, and crawfish pie all very tasty. Just extremely nice and accommodating. Wish we’d had time to visit again before our vacation ended.

This was for 2 visits back in September 2023. First visit, had the chicken tenders and they were so dry I nearly broke my tooth chewing them. The fries were okay. Daqauri was nice. I resolved that I might have better luck with the bone in chicken next time. Lady taking the orders had a bit of an attitude in regards to me thinking about what to order, but I shrugged it off. Second visit, was meeting a friend and arrived before them, so before ordering I just sat down and waited. The lady working at the register, who I had seen a few days prior, did nothing but scowl at me while I hadn't even been sitting down for 2 minutes. She was very rude and asked me when I was going to order. Treating me like some sort of low life or bum. I directly informed her to relax that I was waiting for someone to join me. Ultimately, I decided to take my business elsewhere given the lack of adequate customer service at this establishment. I won't be going back.

Went in for 3 piece chicken tenders. I got charged for a 8 piece meal. Didn't realized it till I got back to hotel. The chicken wasn't good at all. Just r careful when order food

Our chicken tasted like it was cooked in old grease, the boudin balls were dripping with grease. They forgot our jambalaya. Music way to loud that’s why we brought it back to our room I forgot to add they forgot our jambalaya and I tried to call and their phone number doesn’t even work!

The food too expensive given the portions. The hot honey wings are drenched in sauce that is overpowering. The ambiance has loud music which might be appreciated by others but I was not a fan.

My friend and I went here two nights in a row because it was so damn good!! You can't beat the honey biscuit- best one in the game for sure. The chicken is great and their selection of sauces is also fab! Love this place and will definitely come back for more! This is also my first review ever because I loved it so much so I had to come on here and let everyone know what's up! Love y'all voodoo chicken and daiquiris The owner of the one on Canal St. was a doll we loved her!

The cashier seemed like she'd checked out mentally and wasn't very friendly. No big deal, I was hoping the chicken would be good but it wasn't great. It was alright, but priced too high for the quality. On the bright side, the inside was clean and the person making the food was nice and gave me another sauce choice when the cashier said they only have basic ranch.
