The customer service ahead of time was amazing. We received a call a few days before of our visit about the time of the VIP tour we chose & how close to was to closing time on that day. The box office offered to rearrange the day or time of our tour to alow more time in the exhibit & on the observation deck. We were very glad they did, allowing us plenty of time to browse the exhibits, hang out on the deck & spend time gift shopping. The the deck is amazing, you can see a great view of the city, the cresent curve in the river, docked Navy ships, and barges maneuvering the river under the beautiful bridge. The cafe atmosphere does not distract from the view & the drinks were delish ? We really enjoyed the experience. Visited 10/21/24 for our wedding anniversary.

Went on 10/19/24: it’s def a bit misleading on their website. Don’t get me wrong, the views are gorgeous and glad I went on a sunny day. There are 3 options of tickets. The higher priced is with a free drink and guided tour. Cheapest is just general admission. I got the $34 ticket which is general admission and free drink. The exhibits at the beginning are cool. You head up to the 33th floor and the elevator shows a video. You can walk around the inside panoramic view first then go up the extra elevator on the west side of the floor to the 34th floor for the outside observation deck and your free drink. The website made it look like a small restaurant type setting but it’s just a kiosk and chairs to sit. The drink options are various: alcoholic and non alcoholic. I suggest the voodoo margarita.

What's not to love, 360° views of the city and the delta. Great place to take it all in and get some pics in the process. Easy walk from the French Quarter. Very close to Dragos. Interactive history lessons about the city are available. Warm friendly staff. The only negative thing I will say about the whole thing, the premixed, comp drinks you receive as part of the tour are dreadful. Skip that part and save your tastebuds for something else.

The Vue Orleans Observation Deck gives a beautiful 360 degree view of the city. The best time to visit this place is during sunset. There was no hassle in purchasing tickets as the crowd is less during the evenings.

You can opt to go to the Second Floor where you can learn about the rich history of New Orleans and try on a Virtual Mardi Gras costume. Then you are taken to the 33rd floor to get a closed view look of the city. Then on the 34th floor, you have the option to grab a drink and enjoy the overall open view of the city.

The Mississippi River looks amazing with the sunset. Definitely a recommendation to try this out when you are in New Orleans

I feel this attraction is geared for tourist to get a quick background of NOLA. I enjoyed the interactive displays, but I feel this attraction fell short of my expectations. I would’ve enjoyed a more detailed history of NOLA and not just a gloss over. The observation deck was ok, but the cafe was really good and the drinks more amazing

We recently visited Vue Orleans during our trip to New Orleans on our babymoon. The views were amazing, but I was pleasantly surprised by the museum portion prior to the observation deck. We learned so much history about the city and Tina was an amazing guide! Her energy was infectious and she was extremely knowledgeable. Definitely recommend leaving enough time for the museum before heading up to the top!

What fun! This review is late, but still relevant. We traveled here in January (winter) during the coldest week (maybe even day) of the year. A lot of places nearby were closed, but the Vue was faithfully open.

There are some perks to traveling off season, there are no crowds! Other than us, there was 1 other couple at the observation deck with us. We were able to take our time, and really see everything Of course, the top floor shows a 360 of the entire city.

There is also a museum on the bottom level, which is colorful and educational.

I was able to get some amazing shots. The staff were super friendly, and we plan on returning again soon!

The attention and guidance from the ticket office is spectacular! The people are always friendly and take the time to assist you and guide you to have the best experience, the activities are very interactive, the elevator is at the top of the place and the view is unimaginable.

Visited from Philly and our tour guide was horrible. She didn’t know how to speak and her energy was ugly. Besides that, I enjoyed the rich history of NOLA. I was underwhelmed as I expected more compared to other city observation decks. The 34th floor view was nice and the drink bar staff were so friendly and fun. The best part was the drinks they made for us. The Voodoo Tequila drink was so bomb!

VueOrleans was such a unique tourist attraction. Everything from the screens, elevators, and simulated shipping game was interactive. We learned a lot of interesting facts about New Orleans, the food, as well as the people of New Orleans like the voodoo priestess, Marie Laveau. The observation deck has a 360 view of the city of New Orleans. And the drinks were amazing, a little strong, but amazing. I would definitely visit this place again, with the kiddos!

A NEW WAY TO SEE NEW ORLEANS WITH AMAZING CUTTING EDGE TOUCH-FREE INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS
This amazing attraction sits on the top floor of the tower at the top of Canal Street. While it bills itself as an observation deck – and the 360º views are fabulous – it’s the interactive cultural experience that really captured me. It starts when you step onto the elevator that shows a virtual reality representation of the history of the city, that can make your head spin, as you move up.

Once at the top, you can delve into the history of New Orleans by choosing avatars of important characters, who’ve influenced the city, to tell you their story; watch a beautifully animated film about the Mississippi River; learn recipes from famous local chefs in The Story Café; compose your own jazz masterpiece; or create a virtual Mardis Gras costume; to name but a few. After that go out onto the deck and see the city IRL.

Entry fee.

I loved the interactive exhibits, it was unlike other ones I’ve experienced. The two hosts in the victory cafe exhibit were fun and educational. They explained what the ingredients were and stuff about pralines, jambalaya, king cake, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful when my parents kept interfering with the signal when I was trying to click on other historical figures. The top floor was nice, it was a clear day.

Great hidden gem Downtown New Orleans

Superb view, to do without hesitation on New Orleans! Discovery of New Orleans and the Mississippi as far as the eye can see! Small museum at the start of the visit and bar at the top.
