I went to Waffle House this morning, and my food tasted great and was cooked properly. I ordered an all star breakfast and my order came out to about $16. When asked about why it was so high when the menu said the all star was $11 I was told I had the wrong menu. The menu I previously had was for people dining in, I was passed a new menu by the cashier. It was the same exact menu with higher prices, each item was $3 higher than the original menu, and I was told that this was because that is the takeout menu. I feel like that is forcing people to tip. I hope the extra $3 for take out is for the employees at least.

Walking in and everybody greeted me. Jasmine was my waitress she was very nice to me. She work very hard to get out orders and my food & the food came out fast.
Workers work really good together they push out a lot of orders while I was there
Jasmine kept asking me if it was OK, I was like great.
When waiters pay attention to their customers when it’s busy it shows that they care about customers & it makes more people come for good service.
Look around & seen that everything was clean.
That’s a big plus for me when I go out to eat.
Jasmine keep up the good work and your team. Had a good experience. Coming back soon

Terrible!!! The lumps in the grits! I tossed them and I love grits!!! No one makes them better than I do, but since I was on the road, I thought can’t go wrong with grits right???? WRONG!!!! There was no bite without a lump!!! Disgusting!!!! Into the trash they went along with everything else because my appetite was ruined completly

First, to have you pay before dining in is ridiculous. Secondly, I was overcharged, and when I asked to have the order repeated and I'm comparing to the prices on my menu, I was told the prices went up. I stated that I wouldn't know and that I'm going off what I saw in front of me. The cashier looked at my menu and saw the prices then turned and asked the heavy set chic cooking if the new menus had been put out, and she responded loudly and nonchalantly "Yeah, and if they got a problem with the prices they can call corporate, we ain't got nothing to do with the prices ". I responded saying " Even if I'm looking at the prices on my menu, that's just not matching what you're charging me?" The cook didn't respond and had an attitude the entire time we sat and ate. If I hadn't paid ahead, I would have taken myself and the boys and just left cause I don't need a place run like that in my pocket nor standing over my food, and now I have to watch you. Thirdly, to keep down drama, I asked for a receipt. As I'm looking it over, I see a service fee. I asked the cashier " now what is this" she said "It's a service fee for your to go order" I said but we are eating here(we all sat at the high table). See looks at me and was like you'll have to come back on the morning and speak with the manager he just left, I said they guy that was just sta standing here talking, she confirmed. So, I was overcharged and incorrectly charged for something I didn't get. Not to mention, after all this, our food was still packed and bagged. I just took it right back out the bag and said, " we are eating here." From the point on, all the workers disappeared into the back and would come out here and there one at a time, but never did everyone reappear. It felt very awkward.
I feel they didn't want anyone to dine in because we were the only ones doing so, and everyone else was placing an order and then leaving. But we were traveling through, and it was about 9pm and needed to eat. It seem to have bothered them that we wanted to stay, and it was giving you can't be in here vibes. Because we were passing through, I did not waste my time to come back the next morning and possibly have to go back and forth with the manager of that place. My thought is if the workers all operated this way, then it more than likely was acceptable, so I wouldn't expect more from the kne over them. The food was great to taste as I told my family there in LA, but I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or your money at that location.

Most trash waffle house I"ve ever been to. We were the only people in there and it took like 30 minutes to get our "food". Food in quotes because half of it was inedible. Somehow the eggs I ordered over medium were both raw AND burnt. How is that even possible? Got the most miniscule serving of hasbrowns imaginable, covered with a cold slice of cheese. Everyone else at the table's food was burnt too. Its not like this place is short handed either they're just severely incompetent at their job.

I go to this WH very often and always enjoy the food. Today it was awful. The meat was cold, and the grits were cold too. The grits were very watery like they just tried to stretch
them too far. I ordered three meals. Because it was storming, I didn't bring the food back.

The food is always very affordable here. This one was clean, and spacious (the walking area, not the seating area). The service was on time. The food was good.

I know times are slow and the economy is hurting but the service at the waffle house on old gentily road is not good at all.
