I was driving my truck from Dallas to Miami and stopped at this waffle house and my God I must have stopped at the absolute right time because everything was perfect and everyone was nice. Maybe because it was a Tuesday morning
We found that the Waffle House on Read Boulevard in New Orleans is a really friendly spot with a great atmosphere. They serve breakfast all day and also have lunch and dinner items available as well. My steak sandwich was great and they let substitute grits for the normal hash browns. Our server was super nice and attentive. We will definitely eat here again.
I ordered grits, scrambled eggs, toast, waffles and bacon. The grits was cold. The server went to warm the grits; when she came back the grits still wasn't hot and the the eggs was cold. I didn't enjoy my breakfast at all!!
