This is a terrific place for lunch near the Garden District - old school, east coast Jewish Deli, complete with surly workers. But the atmosphere inside is wonderful and most importantly, the deli sandwiches were delish. I got pastrami and my wife had a Rachel on GF bread. We ate outside on the picnic tables in the sunshine.
Come to this little hidden deli at least once a week. Definitely recommend any of the sandwiches on the menu! Fresh meats, fresh veggies and house made bread. Staff isn’t the friendliest but that’s to be expected at a little Jewish style deli. Get there early because they get busy quick!
Staff is rude. Especially the guy at the counter. Food was good. The Ruben was so-so but the turkey panni was very good. Very cramped inside. Not bad for a quick bite but nothing really fancy. Would recommend taking it to go.
