Fish was perfectly crispy, but I think it lacked just a little bit of flavor. Potato salad was tasty just wish they left the parsley out of it. Mac and cheese was good . Didn’t catch my fish but could’ve. Definitely Reccomend.

We came to New Orleans to experience some good food and people. We ordered whole fried catfish ,mac and cheese and potato salad. Also fried ribs , shrimp, and pork and beans. The catfish was fried to perfection but it tasted like nothing lack luster and had a fatty unwanted taste to it I couldn't even eat the fish at all. The Mac and cheese was not cheesy and had no taste. The potato salad was ok but needed seasoning also. The ribs where ok nothing to write home to mom about and the pork and beans definitely taste like bushes. I am not sure what people in New Orleans call good food but this place is not it . Very very disappointed in the experience because other people talked this place up. Please do better . When you guys are ready for some real good food come to Texas and we will show u the difference in good food to amazing food.

Ordered Mac and cheese side and catfish plate. Mac had amazing flavor but the portion size was ridiculously small. The catfish was super small and so hard it was almost impossible to eat. Disappointed to say the least.

I personally netted 4 BIG catfish out the tank. I wanted them FRIED WHOLE, but I was given 4 SMALL catfish on my plates. The fish was OVERCOOKED & tasted like the OIL was BURNT. The MACARONI & CHEESE tasted like it was from the BOX. I DROVE 200 MILES round trip for this SUBPAR food.

This is my second time going to this establishment and I ordered 2 whole catfish. On my second visit I was given the smallest fish..The whole fish takes longer to fry. I suggest taking phone orders. I feel I was given a smaller fish because the amount time the whole fish takes to fry.

I asked for the fish to be fried hard. Even though it was well seasoned, the meat wasn't cooked throughly to my liking. The fruit punch was ok.

I went over to this restaurant and ordered a fish plate with 2 sides and the Mac and cheese was burnt, I was charge $20 for very small portions size equivalent to what you would serve a 2 year old.

It was fried wonderful but no seasoning.. fish was plan plan but the potato salad was the best doe .. idk if it was cause they was closing but the fish we got out the water was not the fish they fried …

It was my first time visiting this establishment. I’ve seen it for months & finally got there. I can say the food is excellent. Everything was perfectly seasoned in NOLA style. I’m not a fan of anyone’s potato salad, but I tell you they hit the mark. I got my order to go & the reason I give 4 stars for service is because I feel the staff can be a bit more welcoming. Please take this as constructive. There could be a better greeting like “ Welcome to Willibys” with a SMILE on top. The atmosphere is one of the same. Maybe have some music playing in the background would enhance the place. Other than that I will return. Thank you!

Food was delicious we went cause my auntee had a great experience with her son. She said they got to fish for their food. And which ever fish they caught they would fry it up. Well when we went it was on a saturday and they were sold out of fish.. but they still had food available. So we just ordered food. Which was delicious. Im definitely looking to go more on the weekday so we can experience the full experience of the restaurant. The food was soooo good!!!
