The food tasted good, minus the fries. Fries were basic. Our issue is with the service. The ladies there were not nice. They acted like having to do anything was an imposition. It's no wonder that they were the only place on the French quarter that wasn't busy. Now I know there are several of these in the area, so this is the one closest to Cafe Du Monde. Our presence was clearly interfering with whatever they were trying to do on their phones when they got there. The food was rung in more expensive than what it said on the menu and they were still tax added. In the end. She rung in red beans and rice that we did not ask for and then said she couldn't do anything about it because there wasn't a manager there. So we just took it and figured it's fine. Our last straw was when I simply asked where are the napkins and the girl rolls her eyes and points to the right and doesn't even say anything. That's when I asked my husband if we could just leave. After going through and looking at other reviews, I realize fairly bad service is what they do and either they are the owners or the owners don't care. I sent an email to the contact us on the website and waited for a response before putting a review, but the lack of response shows that not caring about customers is clearly just the culture of this company. I will not be back. Oh, and to add insult to injury, they didn't even put the lid fully on the red beans and rice that we did not ask for, so I enjoyed wearing that later.

Don’t like the greed of having to buy something to use the restaurant. Expensive but food was overall great and whoever has aux knows good music!

Another night in NOLA which means it’s time to try a new food spot. Earlier today I was over on Canal and passed by Willie’s. The smell itself drew me in and I decided at that moment that I was coming back. LoL!!!! Willie’s sits right on the strip so it’s super easy to find. The front was totally open and there were a few tables outside on the sidewalk. As the strip is super active, sitting outside would be dope if you wanted to people watch. LoL. Walking up to the counter, each register had a cashier so the line was running smoothly. Taking a moment to review the menu, it was as one would anticipate; simple, straightforward, and one dimensional. The highlight of Willie’s definitely appears to be the Daiquiri’ as there are many options. I decided on the 3pc Cajun Tender Combo which comes with Fries and a Honey Biscuit. I also added a side of Red Beans and Rice. I mean, it is NOLA so I had to do it. I placed my order. Received my number. And took a seat to await my order. The restaurant was clean and vibrant. The yellow and red throughout the restaurant really set an upbeat tone that pairs well with the neon lights and vibrant colors of the Daiquiris. Once my order was ready, it was delivered to the table and I was good to go. Let’s talk the Food: Biscuit - Simple. Buttery. Crunchy around the bottom edges. Soft in the middle. Nothing special to note. Reminds me of a biscuit from Church’s. I’ll say 7/10. Tenders - Big. Juicy. Crunchy on the outside. Well seasoned. That’s it. That’s all I got. 😂😂😂😂😂😂. I’ll say 5/10. Fries - Well Seasoned. Crunchy. I’ll say 7/10. Red Beans and Rice - Now hear me out. I love a good RB&R and these were good. There were way more beans than there was rice, which is ideal for this kind of dish. They weren’t too spicy. They were flavored well and the beans were tender. You can definitely tell they were slow simmered. I’ll say 8/10. Now… hear me out! The food wasn’t bad but for $25.00, chileeeeeeeeeeee. No ma’am, No sir. Lemme go to the chicken spot for half the price. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I won’t maybe go again if I want a lil piece of a tender. But at $13 for the Combo and $8 for the RB&R… imma need a coupon or something. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Ok, Ok. In all seriousness, if you’re in the area, go for the experience. *P. S. For my Up North people, Willie’s puts me in the mindset of our “New York Fried Chicken” spots that be on the strip in the hood.

Based on others reviews, service is uneven. We stopped during the week, early evening on a non-festival day. Service was very good. Best chicken for the price in town! Biscuit was also excellent.

Ordered the fish and shrimp platter and it came out in a box. The gut Buster in the box had the taste of day old grease and fries that appeared to have been soaked in water after being taken out of the day old grease. When the lady brought the bag to the table, I asked Ma'am is this the platter and she then replied load and proud Yeeeepppppp! Mind you, we paid aprox $70.00 for this heartburn and two drinks that tasted like over rated and highly sweetened suga water with a Lil color. Eat at your own risk and if you choose to do so make sure you have the anti acid pills close by along with some baby wipes to donate your platter to a better cause.

I didn’t have high hopes when stopped in but they were completely shattered. This place was great, super fresh and the breading is awesome. Idk how this places rating isn’t at least 4 stars! I would for sure recommend. The drinks are also stiff as advertised!
