The food tasted good, minus the fries. Fries were basic. Our issue is with the service. The ladies there were not nice. They acted like having to do anything was an imposition. It's no wonder that they were the only place on the French quarter that wasn't busy. Now I know there are several of these in the area, so this is the one closest to Cafe Du Monde. Our presence was clearly interfering with whatever they were trying to do on their phones when they got there. The food was rung in more expensive than what it said on the menu and they were still tax added. In the end. She rung in red beans and rice that we did not ask for and then said she couldn't do anything about it because there wasn't a manager there. So we just took it and figured it's fine. Our last straw was when I simply asked where are the napkins and the girl rolls her eyes and points to the right and doesn't even say anything. That's when I asked my husband if we could just leave. After going through and looking at other reviews, I realize fairly bad service is what they do and either they are the owners or the owners don't care. I sent an email to the contact us on the website and waited for a response before putting a review, but the lack of response shows that not caring about customers is clearly just the culture of this company. I will not be back. Oh, and to add insult to injury, they didn't even put the lid fully on the red beans and rice that we did not ask for, so I enjoyed wearing that later.
Just normal chicken, fast food level. Nothing special, don’t have high expectations on it.

Who the hell advertises their red beans and rice, and the runs out of RICE on a Sunday?! In the state that birthed rice, in the house of the rising sun, you somehow find a way to not have rice? There could not be a worse way to manage a company.

Giving me semi hot food will NEVER impress me, especially after charging me almost $40 8 pieces of chicken, 2 biscuits, and a fry. I was more than willing to wait for hot food.

This place is way too over priced for the quality of food. $20 for a 4 piece is insane. Do yourself a favor and go to Gus's and get a much better tasting meal for less!!!!

First and last time here. The customer service was lacking except the manager who was wearing a black shirt. He was kind, engaging and appeared to care about guests. There was a young lady at the counter along with a fella and she just looked at me without asking if I needed anything. I was looking at her to see if she would ask because I only had a question since my order had already been placed. She ended up walking off right before the guy at the counter acknowledged me after taking someone else's order. The chicken was just okay and the fries I could have passed on. When my food was brought to the table there weren't any napkins with it. I was dining alone outside, so I had to leave my food unattended to go all the way inside toward the back to get napkins. Overall, I would describe this establishment as greedy. Even after paying nearly $20 for a meal, they don't provide a cup of ice. With your tenders, they only give you a miniature "cup" of sauce (pictured) for an order of three tenders. The amount of sauce contained in the cup isn't enough to dip and eat even 1 of the 3 tenders. If you'd like more sauce, it'll cost you $1 for the same miniature cup size that they initially provided. Frankly, that is the most ridiculous thing that I've ever heard in my life and I will not patronize greed.

Popeyes was closed so I bought it here. The food isn't bad, but it seems a bit expensive. 6 wings are $16.

Great music. They have a bar but was out of liquor. Expensive.... Some of our chicken was cold while others were fresh. [On another note, how do you have a "bartender" but she doesn't know what does on the rocks mean?] In the midst of eating our meal, I asked for for another cup with ice, the other guy said they didn't have cups with ice...I then pointed to my table showing we had cups with ice... he then comes up with another excuse...

The wing was good but the breast was either old or not properly cooked. Beyond awful tasting. I had no choice but to spit out after one bite, due to food safety concerns.

Incompetent management. I visited Willie’s Chicken at 707 Canal Street on 1/18/2025. I attempted to order a 4 piece mixed chicken dinner and “Dreka” informed me that they do not have any dark meat. I asked her how long was the wait for them to cook dark meat and she said they’re not cooking dark meat chicken right now. When I inquired why? She told me that they had to sell out of white meat chicken first before they cook dark meat. I asked, why is that so when the menu advertises 4 piece mixed chicken with both white and dark meat. She attempted to explain that they have to sell out of white meat before cooking dark meat chicken. I asked for a manager and Dreka advised me she was a manager. I told her that explanation did not make sense and I asked to speak with another manager. She stated that, “he will tell me the same thing.” While I began explaining that if they advertise white & dark meat and a customer requested it, then they should honor the customer’s request. I also suggested that since they obviously sell more dark than white meat chicken, then perhaps they should cook more dark meat to keep up with supply and demand. At this point, “Kenneth” another manager approached us at the register and inquired if there is an issue. I explained that I wanted the 4 piece mixed chicken dinner and was told they would not cook any until all the white meat chicken sold. He echoed “Dreka’s” sentiments and also refused to cook any dark meat chicken as I requested. “Kenneth” then suggested that I “go to another Willie’s Chicken location on Bourbon Street if I wanted dark meat or go to Popeyes Chicken.” I told Kenneth that I wanted dark meat chicken from his establishment in which he refused to service me. I left and told the above mentioned to my husband and he recommended going to Willie’s Chicken at 428 Canal Street. Moral to the story, I went there and was greeted with competent staff and I told the above story to Maverick in which he apologized for the bad customer service experience and stated that he always cooks white & dark meat to make his customers happy. Certainly my request for dark meat chicken should not have been an issue when the menu clearly advertises it. The management team at 707 Canal Street need to find a new career path because obviously being around chicken has given them a bad case of “bird brain”!
Only come here if you want to starve. I came in at 12:15 am on dec 13th and placed an order via kiosk. I went to my car and came back in 40 mins to check on my food. I was told they were still working on the food, while I watch ppl who ordered after me receive their order. I check with hostess at 1:45 am and was told my order was still being worked on and I only ordered chicken. The manager stood by and did nothing even after being told I wanted a refund at 2:45 am. I waited 2 hrs for no food.

Average food and expensive for what you get. You pay for the convenience.
Tourist trap. Misleading prices. Ordered a red bean and rice bowl which was listed for $7.99 on the board. However, on the receipt, it’s $8.31 - and that’s before tax. When asked why we were charged an extra $0.32, the cashier told us it was for tourist reasons, which is a load of bs. Total came out to basically $10, and the portion was ridiculously small. Avoid this place at all cost.
