This shop is delightful! The pies are stellar, from sweet to savory. We visited from KC and stayed across the street, were able to visit a few times. The hand pies are insanely good, unlike anything we have at home, unfortunately! We bought several mini-pies to take to a family dinner and all were a huge hit. The owners are great. Thank you!
If you like pie, you NEED to visit Windowsill Pies in New Orleans. As an avid home baker and foodie, I've been following them on Instagram for about a year now, and decided to finally take a trip to New Orleans and try their pies myself (they do not ship pies). Don't think I have ever had pie that was more delicious than the two I had from Windowsill. The fruit is exquisite. The cherry pie we bought yesterday morning is almost gone - and there are just 2 of us. Can't give them enough praise. The crust is delish, light, and festive. Will be back for more...
