My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant, the atmosphere is energetic. Our food and drink were wonderful, and our server Alex was fantastic. Thank you!
Food is usually great- this time all 6 of our entrees were cold to luke warm, not hot at all! Very disappointing! Crawfish Delacroix is not worth 27.00, not at all!! Gave us free dessert and half off our drinks- should have gave us half off the bill!!
Noisy but fun. Sports on tv. Most expensive fish dish was inedible. Frozen fish? Fried shrimp poboy big and good. As was the fried steak poboy. Drinks very good. Esp mojito with fresh mint. Pleasant quick service.
My piece of fish was huge and it was very good. Everyone at our table really enjoyed the food. Also, our server was really great!
This place is like going to a friends home. Great price point, down home comfort food, extraordinary service, no long waits ,great bar. We go about once a month. Definitely an institution where I always feel welcome and at home. Like going to your favorite country club visiting with good friends with no monthly dues
Server was friendly, attentive and helpful. We ordered onion rings, spinach and seafood dip with chips, crab meat and French bread for appetizers. We had to the Braised Beef brisket and Crawfish Delacroix for entrees. The brisket was tender and moist and full of flavor. The drum fish in the crawfish Delacroix was so tasty. For dessert we had the award winning Fried bread pudding poboy which was beyond delish! A great experience.
A wonderful dining experience. My husband remarked his Old Fashioned was perfect. The seasonal watermelon margarita was refreshing! The fish special was delicious!
The atmosphere was so welcoming!

We dined early (5:30pm) as it can get loud in there. The noise level was low. The service was great and the food is consistently excellent
Food was delicious and had the best New Orleans staples. Our server Sarah was great and made our experience very enjoyable. If you are in New Orleans looking for a good spot this is it!

I just left the restaurant. I was served a cold shrimp po-boy. I ordered a shrimp po-boy with fried green tomatoes and remoulade sauce.
The shrimp were served ice cold. The shrimp were suppose to be hot grilled shrimp.
I received my poboy very quickly after ordering and the waiter said he was surprised that my order was made so quickly and ready to serve.
I received the po- boy quickly because it was not made fresh and served cooked to order from the kitchen. Very poor quality of food and restaurant experience.

It's a perfect place for all generations! Light fare for the gals and hearty dinner for the teens.
We visited for dinner on 6/17/2025, and had an AMAZING experience! First point: all hail Jimmy! Absolutely incredible service - welcoming (made us feel like family), knows the menu, makes recommendations and every recommendation was on point. Cocktails, appetizers, entrées - he nailed every single one. Second point: don’t miss Taco Tuesday! We had decided we didn’t want an appetizer, but changed our minds after Jimmy described the tacos. Three full-size tacos - one shrimp, one fish, one beef - and they were SO delicious! I don’t even like seafood, but I fell in love with the fish taco. Last point: there aren’t words for the entrées. Beyond divine. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in NOLA. We’ll be back. Often!

We always enjoy being at Ye Olde College Inn. Food was great and the service was outstanding.
College Inn has been an old friend you never want to lose. The food and service are always great but the people, both the staff and diners, make it such a great dining experience. John Blancher and family are preserving New Orleans memories one meal at a time
