The Chef was absolutely amazing and so personable. He selected and made the best dishes for me and my husband to try. It was a new experience for me, but I am so thankful I made the reservation. I would definitely go again. 10/10 experience!!
What an amazing meal Try the chefs tasting menu it won't disappoint! The chef creations are amazing
Fantastic food experience! Every dish complimented the one before! Will definitely be back!
Made a reservation for 9P. We showed up and the place was closed despite showing hours open till 10p. Super busy weekend in New Orleans. Wasted money each way on Uber to show up to a locked door.
Exceptionally good ingredients assembled into creative and delicious combinations. Welcoming environment.
Took my partner to Yo Nashi for her birthday and it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable night—warm, elegant, and intimate without being pretentious. The service is always impeccable, and this night was no exception. Attentive without being intrusive, every course was introduced with care, and the staff made us feel celebrated the entire time. But let's talk about the food—absolutely extraordinary. Each dish was thoughtfully curated, balancing texture and flavor in a way that's both creative and deeply satisfying. The pairings elevated everything to a new level, blending beautifully with each course and showing the kind of intentionality that makes omakase so special. Drinks were on point, the atmosphere was just right, and the overall experience was pure magic. Highly recommend Yo Nashi for any special occasion—or honestly, any night you want to feel like you're treating yourself to something truly exceptional. Can't wait to come back.
Great experience. Excellent service and the sushi is top notch ! We have a few people in our family with food allergies and the chef and staff are the most accommodating of any restaurant that we've been to . A+
Food was delicious. I had no idea how many courses or what to expect and it was a fun surprise. The creamy miso soup was a favorite. The wagyu is a must order - but thankfully there was a small sushi version so I didn't end up ordering a whole steak which I could never have managed to eat. Great cocktails that match the food well. Special date and we will return.
Terrible food, worse service. Simply bad ambiance. Will never go back. I regret choosing this place to celebrate.
This was an excellent dining experience. The Omakase tasting menu was full of creative and fresh dishes. The service was "on point." I highly recommend this restaurant!

Nothing-special omakase, disinterested service. There are five pieces of sushi across all courses. A very basic clear soup takes up one course, a salad another, and two oysters another. The final course of a dry piece of sponge capped off an overall lack luster dinner. Far better omakase elsewhere, even if you need to spend a few extra dollars.

Must go. Amazingly fresh and so so delicious. We’ve had omakase all over the world and these are some takes on nigiri that I’ve never tasted before (hard to do!). Wonderful combo of super fresh fish flown in from Japan and local seafood. Can’t recommend more highly- it’s charming and authentic and a great value to boot. Holly and chef Jose and crew know what they’re doing. ❤️ 🍣

Service was just mediocre. Nothing outstanding. Food was just mediocre. Nothing outstanding. Takes 2+ hours, which I was not expecting. 20 minutes in between each course. You only get one course of sushi out of 6. One course is a miso soup (come on, really). To me 5 stars means incredible service, friendly staff, and food that makes me go "OH WOW" after every bite. This was just all around meh. Would not recommend for the price point.

The Omakase is a lovely experience! The staff is friendly. The nigiri, the A5 wagyu upgrade, and the maki rolls offered are so incredibly good!

Went last night with a party of 6. I’ve eaten omakase all over the world with different price ranges and different fish. We’re in Nola and though the flavor was good, the size portions had to be the smallest portion I’ve ever seen at any omakase or sushi restaurant. That being said, I’d return if the portions were bigger. The best piece I had was a scallop nigiri topped w truffle caviar. It was delish!!!! One person in our party even asked for a rice sub (she’s low to no carb) and they subbed it with tofu. She said it was great!! But every person in our party went to look for more food after finishing here. Oh and I think their a/c was broken. Everyone was sweating. We asked them to lower the a/c a couple times (the chefs were visibly dripping sweat on their foreheads), and they said ok, but we never really felt a different. It was warm and humid inside. The waitress was extremely polite though and the staff and service were great.
