We had such a blast at Zasu! Intimate atmosphere, kind and attentive staff, stunning drinks, and most importantly delectable food. Each dish was thoughtful, layered, and unique to itself- all while pairing together to make a memorable meal in a neighborhood we love. I would highly recommend taking your cuties, family in town, or just yourself for a treat to Zasu to enjoy all of their offerings (especially the seafood-yum!).

We had such a beautiful experience at Zasu! Hospitality was so welcoming from the moment we walked in, and service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing throughout our meal. The restaurant is gorgeous. And of course, the FOOD! The three of us shared three small plates, both salads, two entrees and two desserts and truly could not choose favorites. Every dish had us closing our eyes and savoring the flavors. Some items were more traditional, while others had quite adventurous elements--the technique and execution were on point throughout. My dining partners both really enjoyed their cocktails.
This is my first time to Zasu, though I live in the neighborhood--I definitely thought of it as a special occasion restaurant, which it is, but I may find myself in there for a small plate or two more often now! 10/10 no notes!

Tiny portions for very expensive above average food. Shouldn’t be leaving hungry after three courses

We had a group of 7 and ordered most of the dishes on the menu. Everything was delicious! The standout for us was the Glazed Pork Cheeks. Craveable!

Greeted by dazzling jasmine at the gate, the whole evening was set before we got to the table. A food selection that showed no bad choice could made. The food we picked was each other's first and second choices and shared, each dish was creative, beautiful, and superbly delicious. The flavor was rich and complex. Service was kind and informative and not pushy. Atmosphere was calm. Wonderful experience. It felt like a place meant to be enjoyed by the locals and not scam tourists.

The meal from start to finish was flavorful, well balanced and playful. The staff is knowledgeable and personable. The cocktails are also excellent and the bartender paired our preferences to our dessert selections perfectly!

Our server, Allie, was amazing! She took such care in helping us choose our meals, gave recommendations on the craft cocktails and bright us some bonus dessert. Tip- the chef makes the ice cream and it's fantastic!!

Amazing food! We just did appetizers and ate tapas style and they were all delicious. We had the octopus, scallops, crispy veal sweetbread, and crabmeat fettuccine. The scallops and fettuccine were our favorite. The cocktails were ok. We will definitely be back for the food!

Decent food and cocktails. The restaurant has a cute ambiance, but more importantly, it has soundproofing boards - which can be uncommon in New Orleans because restauranteurs love their classic tin roofs. The highlight for us was the veal marsala, which was a special item on the menu, as well as the Blue Crab Fettucine. I'm giving it a 4 star because the bread service was pretty average, and they charged us $10 for it. The soup sounded better than it tasted. Overall, we had a lovely meal. I do think all the items on average were $5 above the New Orleans average. We'll definitely be back, though!
Parking: No valet, but it's fairly easy to find parking on a weeknight
