“Got the flaming volcano dish. It had shrimp, steak, and chicken with onions and peppers. The steak was over done, but everything was delicious and I had plenty. It also came with a salad (guacamole, sour cream, tomato, and lettuce), beans and rice. Wife had plenty to eat and really enjoyed the meal. The salsa had a tomato taste more than other salsas we have had, but delicious and even a little spicy with just a small kick.Service was great.Better than we expected in many ways.Parking: The parking area was very tight,especially for trucks and SUVS.”

“While working in Lake Providence Louisiana I visited this place while on my lunch. Definitely wasn't expecting much from this place. But I was pleasantly surprised but how good the food was here. Small cafeteria style lunch set-up ( set up to allow a variety of choices). I ended up getting the rice and peas, fried fish, sweet potatoes and piece of lemon cake. The rice and peas and sweet potatoes were really good. The fish was just thin pieces that were okay. Overall the meal was pretty good. Great food and great service and a great price. Now here's an example of a place that prices its food reasonably and aren't trying to price gouge its customer just for the sake of price gouging their customers.”

“These new ladies have this location going full speed ahead! About a year ago was the last time I visited here and said I wouldn't go back b/c it was run so poorly, but there's obviously been a change in leadership. I noticed more vehicles in the drive-thru the past couple times I've been by so I decided to give it another go. Definitely a change from previous times I've visited. Everything I ordered was out on time, and most importantly, everything was made and assembled like somebody back there in the kitchen gave a dang. All the hot items were fresh and hot, and all the cold and frozen items were cold and ice cold. Very impressive for a fast food joint these days to offer great customer service and, for at least right now, the McDonald's in Oak Grove is getting it done!UPDATE: Another trip Sunday, Jan 22. Back to the same ol same ol. Room temperature & limp fries; McNuggets that should have been pulled way before they were handed to me. Shake came out 8 minutes before the food instead of making it later right before the food comes out. Come on ladies.UPDATE: Another Trip March 31. They knocked it out of the park. Yeh, I waited a little too long on the 2 or 3 vehicles ahead of me, but I got my food right away when I got to the window, everything hot, fresh and given with a smile. Great job, ladies!!”
