We were traveling back from LA and wanted some good food, mostly boudin. We didn't get to the restaurant until 7:50 pm and the staff still allowed us to enter. The kitchen was closed so no boudin but they did have crawfish. So we each order some and they were better than good. The flavor and temperature were perfect. Can't wait to go again
Food was great. I had the Shack Sampler which consists of 1/2 pound boiled shrimp, 2 pounds of crawfish, 1 sausage link, 1 1/2 ear of corn, and 1 potato. Everything was easy to peel and was seasoned nicely. My tastes tend to lean toward really spicy but these were satisfying with great flavor. The sausage leaves a little to be desired, but highly recommended this place for the crawfish and shrimp.
I visited the casino nearby and wanted some good ole southern food. When I arrived I thought man this place must be one of this towns hole in wall. It looks sketchy but inviting at the same time. I was with my mom father and grandmother. We all ordered something different and I tasted everything ! The gumbo was so freaking delicious, I mean it was real gumbo not to soupy not to much rice I mean perfect the juice to rice ratio was perfect and the flavor just made me want to drink...
