THE BEST PEPPER JACK FRIED CHEESE that I've ever had! For under $11 total I got 5 huge panko crusted portions. ? I didn't care for the dipping sauce that comes with it so I suggest asking for ranch to dip into. Very clean quick service restaurant that's great to grab a quick bite to eat while you're at Evangeline Downs. (Also note that Soda & Tea is about $3.50 in the restaurant but free a few steps away inside the casino.)

Friendly staff and very good short order dishes served hot. We were there on a late Thursday afternoon and were the only people dining when we went. The staff was excellent. This is inside of a casino complex, so expect to smell cigarettes at times.

The food was surprisingly good. Be prepared..it's more cafeteria than restaurant. You walk up, order off menu board, get a number and they bring it to you.Lets get the cons out of the way...The staff at the counter..I get the feeling they hate being there. The young woman that brought our food was attentive.The smoke smell from casino...they seriously need to invest in filters and a better air circulation system. Not bad if you sit near back. But it's ridiculous considering...
