Today was my first visit well what started as a door dash delivery and I ended up going back to try and I have to say their plate lunch today the pork stew! Delicious! Will definitely return! Small place but nice staff!

Finished working for my grandpa and stopped here. And no joke the best plate lunch I’ve ever had. I got the crawfish and shrimp fettuccine and it was awesome. The potato salad also awesome. The corn very good. Cornbread was decent. My brother got the pork roast gravy and it was super flavorful. The green beans were the best I’ve ever had and probably the best I ever will have. We shared the butter cake after and you guessed it, it was freaking delicious.

Totally recommend this spot. Came across doing LA backroads. Got the bar b que chicken with sides plate lunch. Chicken had a great smoked flavor and very tender. The sides were tasty. We were the only out of towners, every else was local, and frequent patrons. What does that tell you?

Today was my first time visiting here. It is a small, homely restaurant and I enjoyed it. The staff here were very sweet and kind to us. I had their gator burger with onion rings. I have had fried gator bites before but, this was a patty (like a burger) and it was great!! The flavor from it and condiments that came on it made it a very good burger and it went very good with the onion rings.

Overall, I would recommend everyone trying it out and I’m sure you will not be disappointed with your visit.

The cabbage slaw that came with the meal was soggy and sweet. And there wasn't a variety of healthy breads as in rye or sourdough or French rolls. The role was smashed. But the water was good

Had to wait in line for quite a while. Figured the line was long due to good food. Ordered 2 links of boudin once I got to the drive thru window. Had to wait some time for the boudin but again, figured it was because the food was good. Once I received the food, I drove off to work. Was gonna be lunch. A couple mile down the road I was able to attempt to eat my food. The boudin was mushy and it tasted soured. Was unable to return for a refund. Fed both links to a stray dog at the job site. Really disappointed.
