“This place should be near the top of search results. Very good food, American with a Southern lean, owner cruises the dining room, most accomadating. Light batter on fried foods, nice portions, good salads, seafood. All your favorites. (mine anyway) Doesn't look like much, it's in a former franchise of some sort, but worth a visit.“

“I only got the steak sandwich and onion rings.. it was good for what it was. Price wasn't too bad it was on a big hamger bun. I wasn't aware that it was a southern fried steak patty I would have preferred it not have been a fried patty. Onion rings have a good batter. Sorry, I forgot to take a pic;(“

“Was doing a motorcycle ride from Alexandria, LA and stopped for lunch. We split the Chicken Club between two of us and it could’ve been enough for 4 people. Homemade bread. Also ordered the onion rings and they were large hand cut hand battered onion rings, the real deal!“

“I finished this meal five minutes ago and let me tell you, this is the best cheeseburger on False River. Hands down. One of the best burgers I’ve had around the Baton Rouge area as well. The home made praline is one of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re reading this, go try it. You won’t be disappointed.“
