This was an unexpected find! We are driving from New Orleans back home to the Dallas area. My co-pilot adores good Creole and Louisiana food. The place we had wanted to stop at was closed for renovations, so we asked Google what Cajun restaurants were nearby. It's very clean, you order at the counter and they had two tables for inside dining. In spite of it being a seafood restaurant, there is very little odor of fish. You know how some places smell pretty strongly in the summer heat, but not here!I had the first crawfish pie I've ever had in my life and was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be sort of a dry stuffing inside the hand pie, but it was very moist and flavorful. I would absolutely recommend getting their crawfish pies!My co-pilot had the shrimp poboy, and she said it was very good.

Best steak in the area and jambalaya. They serve many things at a reasonable prices. They are local and have a great following. They are active in the community helping out at the local church and other restaurants.
