Very good place to get home-made food(s). Not a fan of pork as there's other options nowadays; will eat it if there's nothing else.... The beef oxtails, peppergrass greens, delicious turkey, etc were an extension of my kitchen as I don't cook anything over 30 mins. Love it's a non-profit soup kitchen that $upport its community. They are wonderful people on a mission that I 💕. Thanks for your service to this world!!!
I visited on a Friday morning! The staff were all so friendly and down to earth. This business is true service to the community. The breakfast plate specials were only $5.00. I saw several customers picking up food boxes that the restaurant seems to donate to the needy! Today's breakfast plates were fried fish with shrimp and grits and fried tenders with French Toast. The inside is spacious, clean, and has a lot of retro itemsl and decor. Now the breakfast was ok! No special frills...read full review
