“I frequently visit this CAVA location, and I feel compelled to share some observations. There is one young man who consistently stands out. He has locs with green tones, and he’s often the one handling the front line by himself. While other team members sometimes appear less engaged, this employee is the one keeping things moving taking orders efficiently, maintaining a positive energy with guests, and even stepping away to help clean in the back when needed.

It’s noticeable that this pattern happens often, not just on one visit. His reliability and effort elevate the entire customer experience, and frankly, he’s the type of employee who deserves recognition and, in my opinion, a raise. Dedicated staff like him are what keep customers like me coming back.“

“So far, I've not experienced anything bad with any Salad Station I've gone to. They have all been clean and stocked. You do pay by the pound, so keep that in mind when fixing your food if price is a factor for you. They have also increased the size of their bowl and have more options to select from.“

“I've been going to Newks for years. They have great salads, soups, sandwiches, and pizzas. My favorite items are the Lobster Bisque and the Newks Q Pizza. They also have great dessert, try their caramel cake you won't be disappointed.“

“This was my first eating here. It was okay. I was completely lost on how the flow went. I ordered a chicken panini with a salad. I think staff all assume customers have been there before. Okay, if you order a sandwich it comes with chips (you can not substitute the chips). I believe the manager special is when you get the salad added.
Once you pay, you walk down the bar and pick up a tray (which I didn't do). PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. The lady asked me if I wanted my receipt, and I said no. They give you a number for your table. I got me a drink and sat at my table waiting. Well when I got my food, she asked if I had a salad I said yes. She told me I had to go back up to the bar and get a bowl and tray. I went back up to get a bowl for my salad and another customer didn't get a bowl. The manager asked for her receipt and she had hers and she got her bowl. Then I said I needed a bowl too but didn't have a receipt. He just looked and I said I can show you what I paid. But he just went on a gave me a bowl hesitantly lol. It was all good though!! Salad was fresh and delicious 😋. Sandwich was okay. Tea was okay. I ended up pouring it out and got a coke 🙃. So yeah, just keep your receipt in case you have a mix up.

“Dp Doughs has the best pizza rolls in freaking town!! My girlfriend and I go there in the dead of night after work, not a creature is stiring on highland and they're still throwing the heck down. The staff is so so friendly and the food is consistently FIRE. DP Doughs is a gem on highland if you want a late night snack hit them up they're awesome. Those milkshakes will bless your soul their ice cream machine is never broken.“

“A favorite dish: The Krewe Calzone. It's cooked to perfection; I haven't had one yet that was burned on the bottom like most other open oven pizzerias, so I'm always impressed with their food. They run specials, so be sure to ask. Caution: their calzone special is $8, not 1/2 off as twice I'd been told by 2 different waiters on 2 different occasions, so when you get your bill, don't be surprised, as bringing this up to the checkout person/manager(?) will get you nowhere. Other than that, and the reason for the 4 stars and not 5, it was a great dining out experience. I'd recommend for excellent ambiance, value, taste, family friendly convenient location.
