Paul's Cafe Reviews
Great food, friendly attentive staff, a favorite place to spot locals enjoying saying "hello" to and bantering one another.
I do not recommend ordering breakfast. Order cheese omelette and BLT to go. $6 omelette looked like it was a single egg omelette and even tho most places come with toast this one did not. Also paid $6.99 for the BLT 1/2 the sandwich had 1 piece of bacon cut in 1/2 but plenty of lettuce and tomato.
Service sucks! Never wait on customers outside. They seem to busy to care. To busy chatting inside. Always excuse of “we were coming” but 15 minutes of waiting when not busy. Stop the BS with your regulars at bar. Mr Paul your girls are not handling like the days when you were in control. Sad sad sad.

Paul's Cafe is a charming, small-town restaurant known for its delicious home cooking. The menu features daily specials with two sides and a dessert at a reasonable price. The shrimp and catfish, in particular, are praised for their delicious batter. The lunch platters offer perfect portion sizes. The service is friendly, attentive, and quick, even when the restaurant is busy.
However, one reviewer found the grits to be bland, suggesting that salt and butter could improve the taste. The location has its parking challenges, with the parking lot being across at the old train depot, which might require some walking. Nonetheless, the restaurant's atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a place that customers look forward to visiting again.
