Not that I’ve ever had a bad meal when I’m here in Louisiana, but this just may be my new favorite place when I’m here. The batter they use on their shrimp and catfish is delicious, everything I ordered was delicious. Their lunch platters have perfect sized portions for me (enough, but not too much to go get back to work after lunch). The service was amazing, and even though the place was packed inside, my food was ready incredibly fast.Parking: It’s in what I’d call an “old town” setting, which is why I didn’t try this place the last time I was here, because there’s a lot of traffic and I didn’t want to park on the road. But I found parking across the street on the railroad tracks.
