Went for happy hour. Well only some drinks were happy hour price. On FB it says, happy hour for appetizers and drinks. Well the appetizers on the happy hour menu are the same price as the regular menu; so it shouldn’t be advertised as happy hour items. Ordered the margarita flat bread and the spinach artichoke dip which was awful. That was the worst flat bread appetizer I have ever ordered. Only ate the cheese and tomatoes and that was not good. What a disappointment! The crab cake and the shrimp appetizers were ok. We went on 4/4/25. Plus the martinis on the happy hour menu advertise as 20 ounces, which were more like 4 ounces.
Every visit is an absolute delight! The food is consistently delicious—every dish I’ve tried has been flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. But what truly sets this place apart is the service. The youngest staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you don’t often find anymore. Their genuine hospitality makes all the difference. I also love that I can count on live music on the weekends—it adds such a wonderful energy and makes for the perfect date night with my husband. Whether we’re enjoying a relaxing evening together or introducing friends to this hidden gem, the experience is always fantastic. If you’re looking for a place that delivers both exceptional food and an inviting ambiance, this is it! Highly recommend!
I’ve always been a person that reads reviews on a restaurant before I go, however it takes something being very bad or very good before I take the time to actually write one. Tonight we came in at approximately 5pm after reading mostly good (although somewhat mixed) reviews and decided to give it a fair chance. To say we were disappointed with the quality of the food is an understatement. We ordered the shrimp platter, and the blackened Cajun pasta. The shrimp were terribly dry and rubbery, and you could visibly see this before even tasting one. This food should have never been served.
Wow!
Was in-fact “eatable”

Overall the food was good, it could have used some salt and I didn't see any salt or pepper shakers. We got to watch the game that was on from where we were sitting and the atmosphere was so nice and chill.
Wheelchair accessibility: They had a ramp once you got in and everywhere there was a step up or down there was yellow tape so you would know if there was going to be an elevation change. The staff also warned you as you walk to the tables.

Amazing food and service. Crab cakes had an amazing flavor as well as the blackened chicken pasta. Chicken was slightly dry but seasoned very well. I would definitely recommend visiting here.

It was a very relaxing atmosphere, we got there a hour before they closed.. I didn’t get any ugly looks.. lol 😂. My waitress was very sweet, the manager was also very nice. The food was great.. and it didn’t take long for it to come out. They have a wonderful selection of wines for your food.

We were treated to live music on the patio as we drank a cold Gnarly Barley beer and enjoyed a delicious lunch.

My husband and I enjoy our Date Nights here often. The live music is always a great addition. To be honest, the live music is how we found this restaurant in the first place. Entrees are constantly being rotated in the menu; which we appreciate. The entrees are so delicious. We've tried them all. The crawfish cornbread is our absolute favorite appetizer. R&B is hands down the best cocktails! Try the Ponchatoula Punch and Blackberry Whiskey Sour.... trust me. We have always had great service. Kailee is often our waitress and knows us well. We are never rushed in ordering, and she lets us enjoy our night out. Roux and Brew will continue to be our resturant of choice for our nights out.

Got the Roux stack, I got one shrimp ,one small price of catfish, and the smallest soft shell crab I have ever seen. The fried green tomatoes were the best part of the dish. The crab cake was tiny and did not really taste good. My brother in law's food was good with nice portion. My husbands food looked great and he stated tasted ok. I don't understand why a signature dish was so underwhelming

We had the flight of cocktails and a chicken pasta dish. They were both delicious. Definitely would recommend.

Roux and Brew is a fun, family-friendly, casual, but a little upscale eatery that often provides local live entertainment.
The food and service are consistently good, and prices are reasonable.
Outside, covered seating is available. Inside sitting is subdued, and trendy.
Overall--a great restaurant that had become one of my regular go-to places to get a great meal at a reasonable price.

This is our favorite local restaurant! As a patron with food allergies, they are happy to accommodate and knowledgeable about cross contamination.
