I ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo with potato salad and a order of banana pudding. Everything was really good, very flavorful, tasted fresh. It was very affordable and just overall a good filling meal. 10/10
I went right before closing maybe 10min while visiting Louisiana super clean place super nice customer service especially since they were closing most places ready to.kick you out or don't want you there and you can tell but the young lady was above super nice but the food wasn't hot again possibly coz they were closing so not sure how good the flavor would have been hot and fresh I wanted my son to taste gumbo for the 1st time we both enjoyed but it wasn't that fresh bowl of...read full review

The Jambalaya Shoppe offers a delightful Ascension Parish style chicken and sausage jambalaya, as well as a pork jambalaya. The gumbo is absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The potato salad is considered mediocre, but the jambalaya more than makes up for it. The customer service is phenomenal, with great tasting food and amazing service. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, though sometimes chaotic, making it a great spot for a bite, even for families. The convenience of grabbing a bucket without compromising on that homemade quality is a lifesaver.
