we got the chef Roy platter, the crawfish fettuccine and the peach bread pudding. it was all amazing. the staff is attentive and sweet as can be, made us feel special and at home. Even met Robert one of the owners. we will be back next year!!!!
We decide on lunch here because of the unique name and good reviews,, we are glad we did , might be the best meal we have had so far on our 5 day foodcation . My wife ordered off the petite ( which I guess is small portions) but nothing small about it. She ordered the fried fish with the eggplant fries. There where 5 pieces of fish which where good , and you have to try the eggplant fries ( very good). I ordered the Friday lunch special. (Cup of shrimp gumbo, with shrimp etoufee,,...
Nice place right off the highway and easy to find. Service was good. The fig vinaigrette was amazing! Loved it! Never imagined that flavor but it was a big hit. I liked the Shrimp Morel I had, nice cream sauce and bacon with noodles and grilled shrimp. Sadly the shrimp were not fresh local shrimp. These were definitely frozen and another country supplied. Just had an off taste. You would think a big time local chef would know how big of a difference it makes to locally source...
