“Excellent food and service, but it was so busy following high school graduation that we could hardly hear each other. I recommend that the restaurant invest in some kind of decorative sound dampening panels to put on the upper part of the walls to help absorb the noise. We enjoyed our time here a little more after other large groups left. Oh yeah and sitting against the wall was uncomfortable. I recommend that the restaurant get some cushion backrest for the seating against the wall. Overall we enjoyed our time here. We had reservations for a large group so we were able to be seated immediately.”

“We threw my mom a surprise 80th birthday party and I ordered and picked up three of the large to go items - I believe it was 36 catfish in each one with fries and hush puppies. I asked for it to be ready at 4pm. I got there at 3:45 & saw that they were cooking & preparing my order. It was ready at exactly 4pm like I asked which was important bc it was for a party. I liked that the food had not been made way ahead of time and just sitting out getting dried out under heat lamps. Every person at the party said it was the best catfish they’d ever had. Wasn’t fishy at all. Wasn’t greasy. Didn’t taste like it was fried old dirty oil either. The staff were very nice. They helped me carry everything out to my car and made sure it was loaded properly. This celebration was a big deal!! We celebrated my mom turning 80! We are so very blessed to have such a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother!! Thank you Flying Burger for providing us with such great food for her party!!”

“Y’all have something special at Common Goods! We drove up to Ruston from a nearby state park (we travel full time) and it was so worth the drive! Delicious food (seriously, the avocado toast is soooo good and so was the strawberry chocolate chip scone), amazing coffee (we had the Nutcracker), and awesome energy in the place & from the staff. 💚 My daughter enjoyed her strawberry Nutella toast so much that she insists we go back this Saturday to celebrate her 6th birthday and I am happy to do so! Definitely check this place out!”

“Great southern atmosphere. Amazing food, and etouffe. I always judge a place by how good their ranch dressing is, if it’s drinkable then the food is going to be amazing . And it most definitely was. The only downside was the automatic tip calculated in for 6 guests but one didn’t eat. We will definitely be back whenever we go back to Ruston. Crawfish 🦞 etouffe”

If you like a well balanced sandwich that leans on the savory/salty/vinegar side...this is it. Pork was braised perfectly and the texture of the toasted focaccia bread provides an excellent contrast.”

“My husband and I went to eat here the other day and OMG, the food is absolutely chef's 💋! He got the deep dish pizza and loved it. I'm not a big pizza eater at all but I actually ate 2 pieces of it and I loved it too. I got the krew cheese sticks and that was my second time to eat them from here and they was just as good as the first time I got them. Great workers there too. So friendly.”

“I came in tonight a little after 7PM.
I've had a rough week and walked in as I've never had Huddle House before and wanted to try something new.
I saw that hash brown casserole on the window and it looked excellent.
I get in and Miss Sherri immediately attends to me and answers my questions. For $9, I ordered the hash brown casserole with Jalapenos added.
I quite enjoyed my quiet dinner, with Miss Sherri checking on me twice in the ten or so minutes I ate and she did not let my glass of water be less than half full.

I appreciate the service and food and will be back to try the Bacon Smash Burger.”

Parking: Gas station w/ oddly shaped small parking lot on the corner of the I-20 feeder road. High traffic area makes getting in & out a challenge too.”

“I went for a salad with all the toppings ($11) and a large extra meaty, extra cheese pizza for my husband ($30). My salad was so good, it did not need dressing! The pizza was pricey but Johnny's continues to live up to its name. Delicious!”

“I went online to view the menu. It has 1 price for the steak and then I was charged another price not listed. I asked for a manager. I was approached by a young lady could have been in her mid 20's. She was very rude and unprofessional. Asked for owner name. She just basically gave me a fake name. Anytime you need information on a business it should never be a hesitation to give that information.”
