Had a wonderful time here tonight. I was on my 2nd to last leg home to Bham after a conference in Dallas and hadn't eaten since 8PM the night prior. I wanted to find something comparable in price to use per diem and make up for the atrocious meal I had used $80 on (not to mention another $40 of my own money on drinks) the night prior in some ritzy neighborhood in Dallas.
I got the pork chop with bacon-wrapped green beans, three berry torte, and calamari here. EVERYTHING-- and mean EVERYTHING-- was seasoned perfectly. The green beans were sweet with brown sugar and seasonings reminiscent of Fall. The calamari was fresh and not rubbery and the homemade tartar sauce with it packed a punch! The torte was so moist on the inside but with a crunch on the outside of the torte shell. The ice cream, in itself, was a dessert unto itself.
The only real drawback was the way the pork chop was cooked. Although it was seasoned well, it was chewy as rubber and I could barely slice it. That was the only reason for the 4 stars and not 5, honesty.
Otherwise, the young bartender made a great drink (something with blueberries) and was extremely pleasant to talk to. Would certainly be back if I'm coming through LA again but would most likely get another entree.

The steak was pretty good. My friend ordered the exact same steak and it look like it was boiled, so food is inconsistent.
Found this guy in the parking lot with the most incredible mullet I have ever seen.

The food was good but not stellar based on prices. The server was very nice and she meant well but forgot several items, I drink and food items, but we were a party of 9 as well. Try not to sit near the front door, the two-door system doesn't work when people don't realize they're letting hot air flow in while holding the door open to look and see if their table is ready or just being absent-minded... Maybe they could try putting the greeters in the air-lock area.

We where working in Ruston for months years ago so glad we found Beau Vines while there. Best Food ever. We will be going thru Ruston in August and we can not wait to schedule our trip around the time you are open so we can stop and have dinner with you again. Over the years we have been wanting to come back to eat with you just never had the time. Can't wait. I can still taste the food from years ago. If we wouldn't live approx. 4 hrs. away we would be there to eat every week.

This was an unexpected surprise. My group is not from the area and we happened upon this gem of a steak house. It did not appear to be a typical place in appearance, seemingly odd in fact. However, upon entry, we were pleasantly greeted by a very professional hostess, seated right away. It was early, so they were not busy, but as soon as we were seated, it began to fill up. Our server, Jill, was very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive to our conversation or our meal. You could see the large open flaming grill where your steaks (food) was being prepared, which we found very nice. Our food was excellent, top marks to the chef. I could go on, but no need, I recommend you experience this place yourself.

Food and service outstanding. For a weekday evening smaller crowd but dining room was loud with conversations and laughter-extremely LOUD. Steaks cooked as ordered, appetizers delicious.

We had the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding at Beau Vines last weekend and they did a fantastic job! Our food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly helpful and made all of our guests feel welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone needing a place to host an event.

Reservation are recommended. We walked and were seated immediately. The tuna appetizer was really great. The wife had the salmon and I had the filet po boy. They asked how I wanted it cooked. It came out perfect.
