“No frills crawfish spot. Pickup and outdoor seating only. All the food was great, had 28lbs between the 3 eating crawfish and the wives and babies had fried and low seasoning boiled items. It was nice that they would prepare the corn separately for my young daughter to avoid the spices.”

“Big shout out to @Ava at Texas Roadhouse tonight. Our Ladies Night Out group from the Ruston church of Christ met tonight there. Ava was our server and she was the best. There were 7 in our group and she never got flustered or made us feel rushed. There was a mix up with a to go order and she and management went beyond expectations. I offered to pay for the mix up and the replacement food. Management still made it right. I didn't want food to go to waste. Thank you Texas Roadhouse and Ava for great food and service. And yes I tipped her well. She deserved it.”

“We threw my mom a surprise 80th birthday party and I ordered and picked up three of the large to go items - I believe it was 36 catfish in each one with fries and hush puppies. I asked for it to be ready at 4pm. I got there at 3:45 & saw that they were cooking & preparing my order. It was ready at exactly 4pm like I asked which was important bc it was for a party. I liked that the food had not been made way ahead of time and just sitting out getting dried out under heat lamps. Every person at the party said it was the best catfish they’d ever had. Wasn’t fishy at all. Wasn’t greasy. Didn’t taste like it was fried old dirty oil either. The staff were very nice. They helped me carry everything out to my car and made sure it was loaded properly. This celebration was a big deal!! We celebrated my mom turning 80! We are so very blessed to have such a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother!! Thank you Flying Burger for providing us with such great food for her party!!”

If you like a well balanced sandwich that leans on the savory/salty/vinegar side...this is it. Pork was braised perfectly and the texture of the toasted focaccia bread provides an excellent contrast.”

“We used Ponchatoula’s for catering for our son and daughter in law’s wedding reception. The food was amazing and all we had to do was have the tables ready. They took care of everything. Definitely recommend catfish and fixings, meat pies and crawfish dip! Thanks Graham for making it so easy.”

“On this night, this location was super busy. The drive thru line was enormous, and the dining room was nearly full. The young woman at ths counter was patient, very polite, with a nice demeanor. The dining room wasn't dirty, but wasn't pristine. The chicken was hot and fresh, but the fries were not, which was surprising given the churn.

We enjoyed our dinner.”

“Outstanding pizza, great draft selection, and good service. We got their Detroit style pizza, and it was incredible. Their Chicago thin crust (tavern) pizza looked really good, but we saw some come out and they were huge. Numerous award winning traditional pizzas on the menu. Atmosphere was chill, with lots of seating around an island bar and TVs showing sports. 32 beers on tap (menu on Untappd). We’ll be back next time we’re in Ruston.”

“This place deserves no less than 5 stars. It was so homey and just a sweet place but one of the owners came over to my table after I ordered something they ran out of. I was trying to replace it but I kept getting talked out of things I really wanted and honestly became very confused about the very easy to read menu. I finally settled with something just so I could have some peace at my table. I came there after a very tough funeral and I just wanted to order everything that sounded good even know it seemed like a lot of one thing. I know he was being nice but I just wanted to eat girl dinner and get exactly what I wanted to order instead of being talked out of things while I processed all of the emotions from the day.”

“First thing I notice about the oreo pancakes is the quite high price attached to it. At 18$ I do believe it isn't very worth it. The presentation of the oreo pancakes weren't the best. It was smothered in jam and there was barely any oreos on it. The taste of the pancakes themselves was amazing. Soft and fluffy but not dry. It was amazing. The jam was a bit much as it gave it a repetitive taste in every bite, but overall it was enjoyable. Adding the table syrup is something I highly recommend as it balances out some of the flavors, but only a little. Overall I would give the oreo pancakes a 4.3 out of 5. The service was amazing as the food was ready very quickly. There were also these 2 people who were very excited about me ordering the oreo pancakes. Very joyful vibe.”

However the little salad bar they have is great and exactly what you need if you're looking for something healthy because in Ruston there's not a lot of choices for salad bars. The prices for lunch are amazing Pizza buffet with everything for $9.99 and the salad buffet for $6.99 in today's world that's spectacular. The location I went to the employees were very nice and it was just a pleasure in general.”

She was very rude and unprofessional. Asked for owner name. She just basically gave me a fake name.
