“We have been eating at Raw since the very beginning of its creation. It has changed and evolved so much throughout its years. I do miss the big space they once had in the old building, but the new place while small seems to be working very nicely. It is never crowded, I believe their reservation highly suggested keeps this well maintained. There are 2 small tables for walk ins but it only fits 2 people at a time. If you are a spur of the moment kind of person, I would call ahead to see if a table is available. Not the ideal place for large parties, but I see some value in that as the old building was very loud. This keeps the parties from being too big and sound level down. Makes for a more pleasant dinner experience. The staff are always very nice and welcoming! We love everyone there. The food is top quality. Sushi is our favorite food and this place is #1. It has become the standard when we taste all other sushi. My favorites are the nigiri style rolls. I love the margarita and the yellowtail, you can’t top those IMO. They have the freshest tasting fish and the flavors they pair with it really bring the fish to life. My husband’s favorites are the rock shrimp and margarita. My daughter loves the southern and golden roll. It is well worth the visit and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi. If you can’t get in, there is takeout and there some different rolls on the takeout menu.“
