“My husband and I had breakfast this morning. I had a chicken fried chicken with white gravy, two eggs, mojo potatoes, and toast. Husband had the brisket skillet. Both meals were more than amazing! The staff are so friendly and very attentive. This was a great birthday breakfast and I will definitely return very soon!“

“I’m hard to impress when it comes down to food because I’m from south Louisiana where our food is well seasoned. I’ve been in Monroe 3 years now and I’ve tried several food places to only be disappointed. Well, We had the Big Boy Combo and boy they are big!!! I was full off of half of the burger. It was seasoned to perfection and reminded me of a homemade burger. Even my fiancé raved about how big and good they were! Absolutely delicious!! Needless to say, we were very satisfied and If I wouldn’t be so health conscious, I’d be there at least once a week!! Great job Vannahs!! We will be back!(Every other week).☺️“

“I've been here several times over the last 4 years. I've never had a bad experience. Great food and service. I've sampled quite a bit from the menu - including desserts. El Sombrero is my favorite stop in Monroe. Added bonus: if you sit near the kitchen you can hear the staff singing and having fun.“

“Went in for a little "girl" time to catch up with friends. We were able to get a table against the wall on a high top. It was perfect until a large table came. The tables are so close together that a medium size purse hanging on the back of my chair was only several inches from one of the newcomers faces once she was seated. This made everyone cramped and conversation distracting. With that said, the queso and chips here are my favorite. The drinks were good but did take a little too long to recieve from the bar. The waitress was attentive, quick, and made several good suggestions. Next time we will plan to stay a little longer and eat dinner. We will return.“

“This place is absolutely amazing!! We spent the weekend in NOLA and were headed back to Texas, but this place was recommend by a friend so we made a quick jaunt north to try it out. SO GLAD WE DID!!! We started off with drinks- banana soda, fresh lemonade, which is served frozen, and the Latin coffee with steamed milk and sugar. Oh my word! All were yummy. (But the coffee was so good, when we left, we got three to go!!!) We were in on a Sunday, so we were able to get the Seafood Soup—so good! (It’s like a Honduran twist on a crab boil in soup form) The Honduran Dinner, is like a sampler of lots of amazing items. The fried eggs were cooked to perfection, and the steak was great. The soft cheese with fresh corn tortillas was out of the world though!! (I’ve already looked online to see where I can order that soft cheese) We also ordered pork, bean, & cheese papusas, those alone would have been worth the trip! They are cooked perfectly, and the salsa that it is served with compliments them beautifully. The slaw that is served with them it tasty as well! They served it all with two bottles of house made sauces- an orange and a green. They were perfectly spicy—Just like we like it! The sauces brought another amazing layer of flavor to our dishes. All in all this meal was a flavor EXPLOSION! I can’t give it enough stars. Monroe is blessed to have such a phenomenal place to sit down with family, and enjoy some amazing food! May God continue to reward you guys with success in your business! We will be back!!!“

“I went here today. This place was delicious. Especially for Monroe! I had the Pad Buddha and the green curry. I always get two dishes so I can eat some of each and then get the rest to go. Y'all should try it if you like Thai food. It's kinda hard to find though. It's in a shopping center but the facade of restaurant is behind a red wall. Kinda confusing. They really need to put a sign on that wall. But the food is great“
