Without a doubt, one of the absolute best steaks I have ever had. Service was super attentive and polite. Restaurant was clean and had great atmosphere. All around best meal I've had in years.
We always try to stay at the Best Western next door to this restaurant. Everything we've ordered has been amazing, and the prices are fair as well. On June 9th around 5pm we arrived and got possibly one of the worse servers I've ever had. Everyone else was hustlin' and bustlin' but not our server. She acted like she'd just received a high dose of Xanax and couldn't function. She completed the BASICS with NO smile, talk, or friendliness. I grabbed...
El Jarrito has become a specialty in Ruston for some reason. Just the basic tex-mex food. It was good, nothing spectacular though. Margaritas are good. It gets very loud, between the music and everyone trying to talk.
