Big juicy burger, but it's a bit expensive having to pay more for toppings like cheese, etc. Fries were too greasy, but they did give quite a large portion. Iced tea was fresh. Hubby adored the brown gravy (dipped his fries). Remoulade sauce was a bit too horseradish-y for me but not bad. Service was friendly and pretty fast.
May go back to try the shrimp tacos since they've got such good reviews...
9/24: Cost = $36 for 2 double cheeseburgers and 2 drinks (NOT combos). Burgers are still tasty, but too expensive to repeat often. May come back just for peach ice cream.
4/22: Cost = $32 for single cheeseburger meal + double cheeseburger meal + side of brown gravy. (Could have easily spent more on burger toppings and dessert like the cinnamon roll)
Vegetarian options: Very limited veggie options (salads, rice and beans, corn, or potatoes only).
Parking: Fairly big parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: They have kids' combo meals.

The best catfish hands down! We were passing through from Austin and stopped by hoping for the best. Because you know when you travel... Some places are good and some are just ok. This place was great!!! The catfish was huge, breaded to perfection and melted in my mouth! The grilled shrimp had such a great flavor and cooked just right ?. I will admit I'm a little bummed I didn't try their cinnamon roll... So if you stop in and grab a bite to eat (which you should) Eat a cinnamon roll and let me know if I'm missing out ?. Oh and the young man running the show, of course I forgot his name (last name Williams or Wilson???) thank you! Your customer service was above and beyond and a breath of fresh air in a time where most people just don't care. You are an amazing person, thank you again for the recommendations!
Do yourself a favor if you love fried gulf shrimp. Don’t order it here. Go for a burger. Very nice people but in my opinion the fried shrimp was not seasoned and the seafood gumbo has a sad color and I highly doubt those were gulf shrimp either. Most of the floors were dangerously slick. But the food was just not Louisiana standard but the staff were very nice and helpful. I do not mean to be ugly, I’m just expressing an option that our food served that day was bland, worse than a Piccadilly. I mean the fries weren’t even crispy..

Phenomenal service and the food will make you hate going anywhere else because of how fresh tasting and delicious it is. Passing by going to Texas and boy, we will make this a landmark on our travels to stop bye again. Manager will walk around and greet, bless the food and the hands that prepared it.
